Julia felt very awkward being among Lucas's family, feeling stiff and unfamiliar.

During dinner, Lucas's family showed no intention of talking to her, only inquiring about who she was and where she lived.

They only spoke to Lucas, not even glancing at Julia and Harry.

The most dominant presence in the conversation was the beautiful woman that Lucas had previously ignored.

The woman seemed very familiar and spoke candidly throughout the dinner.

Julia sensed that the woman was well-liked by Lucas's mother and always responded to her conversation with laughter or a joyful smile.

"Mama, I'm full, I don't want to eat anymore. Let's go home, Ma!" whispered Harry, touching Julia's arm softly so as not to be heard by others.

Julia noticed that there was still a lot of Harry's rice left on his plate.

It turned out Harry felt just as awkward and uncomfortable with his father's family as Julia did.

"Yes, Mama is full too!" answered Julia softly, then affectionately rubbed Harry's head.
