"I-I'm going to die!"
We heard Joaquin scream while still doing the push-ups the coach told them to do. "Coach! I brought Ezra." After Dwight called him, coach Alfred turned to us, and his grim expression lightened while he looked at me with confusion.
"Alexis? How come you're here? Did you change your mind?" Coach Alfred smiled as he made the others stop doing the push-ups. "You all can take a rest while I talk to Alexis."
Almost all of them sighed out of relief because of that. "Am I great, coach? I brought Alexis back—"Coach Alfred pushed Ezra aside and made me walk out of the gymnasium with him. Leaving Ezra and all of our teammates outside.
"How come you're here, Alexis? Did you change your mind? What about your work?"
It seems like coach Alfred couldn't wait to hear my answers and chose to bombard me with questions. "E-Ezra…"
