Due to surprise, I accidentally bumped my head on the door, which caused me to curl up while holding onto my head. What's his problem? If he didn't move that close, then I wouldn't become flustered like this.

"Are you okay?"

I was surprised when Ezra kneeled on the floor and looked at me with worry in his eyes. "Did I scare you? I'm sorry! I think you hit your head too hard. Should I look at it?" He asked me with such a sweet tone that I couldn't reply.

He leaned to me and caressed my head, but his face was closer to mine than before, making me flustered. "That must have hurt," Ezra said while still having his face near me. I could feel mine heating up as I averted my gaze.

They left after that. "What was the purpose of doing that?" I mumbled as I got up. "And you don't call people queer just because we're not made out of pure muscles just like you blockheads are." When I turned around, I didn't expect to see Ezra.Wait! Did he heard what I've said?! Ezra smiled at me and didn't talk to me any further. The training started, and not like his usual self, he didn't approach me nor looked at me. I might end up thinking that I did something wrong to him because of how Ezra averts his gaze and avoid me. He didn't do that this morning though. What's wrong with him now? "Gather everyone." We all we

  • Trapped in Lace   Chapter 13 - Kindness

I got flustered when he turned to face me while still not letting go of my arm. "No one should get used to being bullied like that. You're a precious person. You must treasure yourself like how your parents' treasures you." Those words didn't sit right with me, and I pulled my arm away. "How would I do that? I don't know the feeling of being treasured." Ezra was definitely surprised by what I've said. I don't even know the reason why I've said that. I'm usually not like this. And because of that, I now again feel awkward being with him. Can I please stop spouting nonsense when I'm with him? I'm already uncomfortable enough! Why do I have to make things worse? Stop making my life even more awkward, self.

  • Trapped in Lace   Chapter 14 - Bullied

Ezra tilted his head with his forehead creased. “I don’t think I understood your question.” That’s when I realize something. He’s naturally kind! The actions he showed me were just him being himself, but I overthought about it and expected that I was some special person towards him. This will definitely make me look weird in his eyes now! Again, why do I keep embarrassing myself in front of this upperclassman?! I tidied my table as I stood up. “F-Forget it. I-I was just silly.” I was too shy to even look at him. “Thank you for helping me.” I could also feel his shyness without looking at his face and even with his cheery tone. “It’s no problem. You can always ask me for help.” He pats my head once again, making me conscious of him all over.

  • Trapped in Lace   Chapter 15 - The Official Setter

H-Huh? Mitch? This incredible and bright Mitch? Was bullied? That's absurd! How could they bully such a nice person like him? Do bullies just bully anyone they want to make fun of? Even if they're fantastic and great people? Mitch chuckled after seeing my blank expression because of how surprised I was. "That's why whenever our upperclassmen talk to me or make me hear how they hate us, I couldn't talk back. I'm afraid that they might bully me like how my teammates bullied me before." He pulled his knees together as he gazed on the ground while still holding onto my hand. "My former teammates would often as me if I'm a girl or gay, and they would even touch me everywhere." I gasped. How could people do that to him? They're horrible!

Devon scoffs. "Don't tell me Ezra rejected the idea of me being the official setter?" He glared at Ezra, who just smiled at him. "And what do you mean about my attitude? I didn't do anything to that pipsqueak or any other teammates." Hearing that makes coach Alfred sighs. "You're already bullying him by calling him with that name, so stop. No matter what you say, my decision won't change until your attitude does. You're all dismissed now. Don't forget to cool down and stretch." Coach Alfred left after that. He must be busy with paper works too, since he's also a teacher. I think I've heard that besides being the coach and faculty adviser of the boys' volleyball team, he's also a P.E and mathematics teacher, which is impressive. Captain too

Ezra smiled after noticing me.Oh right. We live in the same street.I don't even know how to react to him because of what he did before. His face became swollen, and I don't understand why he still hasn't done anything or applied medicine. I stood in silence while he leaned on the wall near us. "You're not going home?" Ezra asked. I blinked thousands of times, though he wouldn't be able to see it. I thought he wanted to talk to me. That's why he appeared out of the blue when he left earlier than Mitch and I. "What about you?" Ezra chuckled as he gazes at me with those warm

  • Trapped in Lace   Chapter 18 - As Thanks

It was pure silence on our way home. Ezra didn't speak about anything like how he usually does. I do enjoy peace and quiet, but not this again. I'm anxious that he might be thinking something wrong about me. I'm aware that he's not that type of a person, but maybe he hated how I snuck my nose into his business. I can't stop overthinking, and this is the problem with me. We're not even close for me to do something like that. Though it doesn't matter if Ezra hates me, I'm all good as long as he wouldn't bother me anymore. The darkness and the cold wind didn't help as it just made everything more awkward. Or was that just me? As soon as we arrived in front of my house's gate, I bowed

"N-No. Please wait. I'll give it back as quick as I can."I rushed towards the house and almost tripped. That was close! As soon I got inside the kitchen, I quickly transferred the food Ezra's mother made on a big plate. My eyes twinkled as I gulped out of hunger after realizing what it was. "It's lasagna." One of my favorite foods! And it's even cheesier than the one we can order from fast-food chains.Oh no, I might love this too much that I wouldn't be able to finish the pizza I already ordered."Oh shoot!"I realized

Alexis's POV I woke after I felt light touching my face, which made me grunt. I wanted to get up, but I felt Ezra's hand wrapped around my waist. "This guy, really," I muttered as I tried to get his arm off, but before I could even get up properly, I felt my waist hurting like it was about to break off. In the end, I couldn't get up, which led me to feel annoyed. "You should really learn how to control yourself." Ezra chuckled as he snuggled on my back. "My bad. It's been so long since we last did it, and I just came back from our competition in Los Angeles." He said those could be used as a proper excuse for fucking me until I passed out. "Hey, you're not mad, are you?" He asked as he made me turn around, but I groaned due to pain as soon as my back touched the bed. All I could

Mitch's POV"Mitch, would you like to go out with me?"I was dumbfounded after hearing Dwight ask me that after our practice. "What are you on? Are you drunk?" I asked as I raised an eyebrow at him, which caused him to laugh. The other members that were cleaning after training were looking at us."I'm not drunk. I really like you, even though I liked girls before." Dwight had this sheepish expression on his face as he smiled at me widely. "I really want to—" He was cut off after Royce stood in between us.Joaquin followed as he wrapped his arm around Dwight's shoulder. "What are you doing, dude? You already know that Royce's head-over-

I was so nervous when I sat on the soft and comfy bed. "May I kiss you again?" Ezra kept asking for permission, and I kept nodding to allow him to do whatever it was he wanted.I want to kiss him too.We were dismissed too early today that it wasn't even sunset yet. Ezra was staring at my lips as if he needed to quench his thirst, and it gave me shivers down my spine. He placed his hand on my waist as he pulled me closer to him. The moment his lips touched mine felt like I was electrified, even though it wasn't the first time it happened.I don't know if I'm doing great to match his pace, and as we continued kissing, all I could hear were the lewd sounds, making me so flustered to the point of pushing Ezra away.

I stayed the whole night in Mitch's place, and Andre was the one that delivered me some clothes and other necessities I needed. It seems like our mother's still going on with her rampage, and I wouldn't be able to come home yet.I actually like this better. I'm always uncomfortable being at home anyway. Today, Mitch apologized to everyone and coach Alfred for ditching practice yesterday without any excuse. Though we thought he'd be receiving severe punishment, coach Alfred let it go since he knew how sincere Mitch was with his apology. "So that's what happened." Mitch and I looked at each other while waiting for Jade's reaction after explaining what happened yesterday. "Wow, a lot happened

I looked up, and my eyes widened after seeing Royce. "What are you doing?" Why is he still here? I thought he had gone home already before me? I was too flustered that I immediately stood up. "Are you waiting for the captain?" Royce asked, which made me shake my head many times."Please don't tell anyone that you saw me here."Royce tilted his head as he looked down, and I quickly tried to hide my shoes that I couldn't wear properly. "I won't ask anything else, but if you're planning to stay out here, why don't you just go to your best friend's house?"I instantly thanked Royce for that and bid him goodbye. I was too distracted by my problem that I forgot I had Mitch.I just hope he will accept me.&nb

"What are you talking about, Tiffany?"Tiffany giggled after being asked like that by Ezra. "Are you playing dumb, captain? Wasn't it you who said about Alexis being your boyfriend— And what was it? Mitch's not interested in girls?" Her eyes twinkled, and I didn't know what to say. "Then why is he hanging around with that third-year girl?" She placed her hand on her chin and looked at us."What do you want?"Tiffany looked at Ezra with uninterested eyes. "Nothing much. Just stay out of my way, and I'll do the same." She said as she looked at me with a smile. "You wouldn't want your mom to learn about this, wouldn't you?" I was frozen in shock after she mentioned that. Why is she talking about my mom?

The training camp ended without any problem, although my body was in pain after the training with the Golden Bell warriors. Right, they've been training with us side by side. Though I wonder why when we're the teams that always compete right before the championship, where the only one between us could get into that said championship. It didn't matter since we should already know what we needed to work on after playing against our greatest rivals. Even though we were going to play against each other soon, the players on the other team didn't look so bad, in fact, they even helped us learn lots of things. They're too kind, or maybe they're content because they think we wouldn't be able to win against them? However, during that training camp, I noticed that Liliana received even more bullying than before. I don't kn

Alexis’s POV“That’s all for today. We won’t be having rigorous training for now since we’ll be having the training camp soon.” Those were coach Alfred’s last words before dismissing us.“Lexi! Let’s go home together.” Mitch called up to me. That reminds me, I still haven’t told him about my relationship with Ezra. “You wouldn’t be coming home with Ezra again today, wouldn’t you? Honestly, what’s going on with you two?”“Actually—““Ah! Lili! What happened to you?”

  • Trapped in Lace   Chapter 126 - Guardian Angel

Jade's POVI heard a knock on my door while drawing on my tablet. "Go away." It's probably Gelo again. I don't have the time to deal with him right now, but instead of following what I said, Angelo opened the door to my room which made me look in his direction. "What the hell? I said go away. I'm busy."My younger brother, Angelo, didn't listen again, and instead, he sat on my bed. Purposively pissing me off. This goddamn brat."I thought you weren't going to join any clubs? Why are you joining the boys' volleyball club as a manager? Ion was there too; did you know that?" This brat really kept on getting on my nerves the past few days.
