CHAPTER-106: My son is Drifting away

“Liam, how was the party?” Helena asked her son smiling when she returned home. He was watching cartoons on the iPad in the living room while Vienna was making some sketches in her drawing book.

Liam raised his head from his iPad and shared a look with Vienna who shook her head slightly, gesturing to him to be quiet about the meeting.

“Liam?” Helena noticed the secret look between him and Vienna. She turned to her, “What happened?” She asked, turning her head back to her son. “Is everything alright, Liam?”

Liam nodded. “Yes Mom. Everything is fine. In fact I enjoyed the party a lot. The sliding waterfall. It was the best!” He said, adding a tone of excitement to his words. Vienna visibly relaxed when Liam lied so conventionally. The kid definitely has Rossi blood running in his veins, she thought, rolling her eyes.

Why, she heard her brother not once but a few times mentioning that the Rossis are a bunch of lying thugs who fool the public for a living on a regular basis.
