Chpt 6

Nisa felt sad and didn’t know what to make of that man. She felt that she truly didn’t know him at all.

Leon jolted and threw his wallet at Bisma, who was still staring in disbelief at his master’s actions.

When he turned around, Nisa was already gone. She had vanished from his sight.

“Argghhh. Damn.” Leon kept cursing.

He rubbed his face roughly. He had resolved not to lose the woman he had always been searching for, but it was the opposite of what he desired.

“You’ve seen her, right? Find all the information as quickly as possible. I want to know everything about her clearly!”

Leon commanded Bisma, still with a look of anger.Bisma watched Nisa’s back as she walked further away from his furious master.

“That’s the woman. The woman that Master has been searching for over the past five years, and it turns out she has changed a lot, looking much more beautiful and mature.

”Bisma was equally amazed by Nisa’s transformation into a more mature version of herself, or perhaps it was a forced maturity due to her family circumstances.

Leon looked again at the food he had stepped on earlier; although vaguely, he knew that it was Nisa’s favorite.

“Huh, I shouldn’t have gone this far.” Leon regretted his foolishness. He truly felt guilty because of his emotions earlier.

Leon was no longer focused; he canceled his meeting. He felt unwell, so he ordered Bisma to take him home.

He got out at a two-story penthouse of his and hurriedly entered, locking the door to his room.

BANG. Leon leaned against the door. His face was flushed, his heart racing thousands of times after his encounter with Nisa.

In the corner of Leon's eye, he could still see Nisa's beautiful face.

“She has changed so much, very beautiful. And her petite body with a fuller chest makes me addicted. Even just wearing a tight t-shirt and jeans makes her stand out perfectly.”

“Arghh. I’m almost going crazy. Who changed her to be that beautiful? Or could it be that she is already married? Hahh!! I don’t even care if she is married; I will still bind her to me.

”Leon clenched his fists angrily at the thought of Nisa being married. He truly couldn’t bear the idea of what he feared happening.

Elsewhere, Nisa cursed her encounter with the man she thought was crazy.

“He could grip my hand like that, claiming to know me. Hah! That crazy rich man. I hope I never meet him again, ahhh, please no.”

Nisa shuddered at the thought of encountering the man, who of course was Leon.

“Huh, how annoying. I should have had a nice meal. Aldo’s effort to buy me food was in vain.”

Nisa grumbled, still imagining the food Aldo had bought her earlier.

Nisa opened the refrigerator, looking for ingredients to quickly prepare something as her stomach felt hungry.

“Really, thinking about it just makes my emotions drained by him,” Nisa said, shrugging her shoulders.

With quick hands, Nisa sliced tomatoes, but she suddenly stopped when she remembered the earlier incident.

Nisa tried to recall the face of the man who seemed familiar.

“I can’t even remember clearly; this is the side effect of the medication I’ve been taking for the past five years. Or maybe it’s something else,” Nisa muttered again, her heart aching as she imagined the anger of that unfamiliar man.

Nisa was still grateful that she hadn’t forgotten her parents. Due to the last accident during her college years, she truly couldn’t remember some parts of her life that might have been the most important.

Moreover, Nisa also had a heart condition, and she had to receive a heart transplant from her sister, Lana. Her mother even sacrificed herself for Nisa, prioritizing the safety of her only remaining daughter.

“Cheer up, Nis. Now it’s your turn to repay the kindness. Heal mom, and then you can think about your future.”

While raising her hands in the air, she encouraged herself.At six in the morning, Nisa was already awake and preparing breakfast.

After making breakfast, she left it to take a shower, change clothes, and do her makeup.

Nisa wore a black pencil skirt above the knee with a lemon-colored lace blouse that fit perfectly on her petite body and her two curvy assets.

Paired with heels and her wavy hair styled, Nisa looked beautiful and enchanting.

Nisa sipped chocolate milk and ate chocolate-filled bread that she had made. She quickly went downstairs because Adam was coming to pick her up. The workplace Adam found for her was just a few buildings away from where he worked.

Adam stared at Nisa’s appearance. For the past two days, he had only seen Nisa in casual makeup.

“Wow, what a hot morning, stunning!” Adam commented, immediately turning his face and rubbing his chest.

“Good thing Sarah is just as hot as you, Nis,” Adam thought.

“What’s up, Dam?”

“Nothing. Let’s go, or we’ll be late!” Adam glanced in the rearview mirror as Nisa sat behind him.

“Hold on tight, Nis. Don’t fall, and here ...,” Adam opened his jacket to cover Nisa’s skirt, which had risen beyond the limits of what a man's eyes should see.

“Thank you, Dam!” Nisa quickly covered herself and placed her bag on top of Adam's jacket.

“Nis, I need to tell you something,” Adam said as he started the motorcycle.“What is it, Dam?”

“Sorry, I’m going to break my promise. I won’t be able to pick you up later this afternoon, okay?”

“Oh, that. No worries, Dam. You shouldn’t have to pick me up like this; I can go by myself,” Nisa replied.

“No, Nis. I promised to take care of you and your aunt. As long as I’m here, I’ll do my best to protect you and your aunt!” Adam replied, starting up his old motorcycle.

“Be careful, Dam. Sarah might misunderstand seeing this. I don’t want to be the reason for ruining your relationship with Sarah!”

“No, Nis. Sarah understands me. What’s clear is that I can only feel at ease once I see your aunt recover and you live happily,” Adam added. Nisa couldn’t persuade Adam to change his mind about taking care of her family.

“Remember, Nis, go straight home after work, don’t wander around. I have an event to attend with Sarah, but I’ll pick you up tomorrow, got it?” Adam kept reminding Nisa like a brother she never had.

“Got it, boss!”

Nisa stepped into a building named PRAWIRA COMPANY. All eyes were immediately on Nisa’s very beautiful and captivating appearance.

Nisa approached the reception desk, “Good morning, I’m Nisa. I have an appointment with Mrs. Wanda; which floor can I meet her?” Nisa greeted politely with a smile.

“Good morning as well. Let me check the appointment list for a moment!” The receptionist quickly checked the guest appointment list on the available computer.

“You can go to the thirtieth floor, personnel department, the elevator is on the left. You can use a temporary guest ID before getting your access ID to enter the building!” Nisa received the guest ID and immediately hung it around her neck.

“Thank you!”

Bisma knocked on the door before entering Leon’s office. He looked busy with several documents, his eyes and hands intensely focused on the papers in front of him.

“Here’s the data you requested, Sir.” Leon stopped working, looking at Bisma and the brown envelope in his hand.

Bisma handed over the brown envelope, “Thank you, you may leave!” Bisma nodded and exited.

Leon slowly opened the brown envelope and looked at the information he had ordered.

He read that after the bankruptcy of Nisa’s family company, her father and brother had passed away. Then Nisa’s mother was lying in the hospital.

Nisa was in another country and had been doing various jobs. And Nisa had only been in this city for three days. Leon’s eyes widened in disbelief as he saw the company that was hiring Nisa and her single status made his heart relieved.

“Looks like no matter how far you run, you’ll always come back to me.”

A smile appeared on Leon’s face. He could no longer hide the happiness that was clearly visible on his face.

Leon stored the documents back and got up from his seat. He felt a bit restless, pacing back and forth in the room.
