A LIFE OF NO RETURN

Rebecca played with her nails as she awaited the priestess return. Tyler had left to give them privacy but of course he didn't leave entirely. He waited for Rebecca in the vehicle.

“Nervous?” The priestess voice jolted Rebecca out of her trance and she smiled awkwardly.

“You...you know who I am don't you?” She stuttered a bit and the priestess smiled at her before taking her seat. She held what looked like an orb and Rebecca came to the conclusion that she was about to show her something very important.

“Not entirely child. I only know what i am allowed to know by the moon goddess.” Came the priestess soft reply and Rebecca pressed her lips in a thin line.

She was still a bit confused about the moon goddess and her role in the universe. Was she God or another powerful spirit that worked like God? Or maybe she wasn't a spirit at all but a powerful witch that turned herself invincible, it didn't make sense but it would have.
