The CEO of the company was presenting some new investment plans and Niel was focusing himself on them. Out of the blue, his phone suddenly rang. The meeting got halted as all of them heard the sound of ringing. Niel hastily took out his phone from the pocket inside his coat and saw that the one who was calling him was Ben.
He felt weird that Ben was calling him in the middle of his meeting. 'He knew I was in a meeting right now. Why would he call me?' He wondered internally. Usually, Ben would just send him text messages if there was something he needed to tell him. But this time it was a call. 'Was it urgent?' He thought more.
"Can we pause for a while?" Niel asked the rest that were present inside the meeting and they just gave him a nod, obeying his request.
