At his announcement, I looked at him expectantly as he slipped his hand inside his jacket pocket and brought out another of those rectangular velvet box. I arched a brow as I asked, “Another diamond jewellery?”

He shook his head and replied, “Not another.” He opened the box and said, “I had it fixed.”

There in the silk rested my bracelet that was only locked around my wrist by the ring which now I wore. I picked him and examined it to see that he had a pale pink pearl fixed in the middle of a platinum ring that now attached the two ends with a simple lock mechanism.

I held up my wrist for him to settle it around my wrist. As he locked it, he said, “Do you know it has a tracking chip in it.”

I laughed. “Do I know?” I shook my head, “No. But I was sure because I knew you, so it means I knew.”
