Scarlet had been completely caught off guard by the sudden kiss.

It was nothing like she remembered.

His kiss was hard, full of anger, yet there was a hint of something else—something familiar.

He cupped her face, his thumb brushing her cheek making her moan which gave him access to her tongue.

The kiss was demanding, fierce, and all-consuming. Like a spell, she couldn't break away from.

His touch ignited something deep inside her.

It was like her entire body was on fire making her lose all control as her hands found their way to his chest, the smoothness of his skin sending a rush of heat through her fingertips as his firm muscles flexed beneath her touch.

A thrill of desire shot through her, and she felt her body responding, her nipples hardened and her heart raced,
