As I walked out of the pack house the next day, I heard the sound of commotion from the pack ground. At this time in the morning there was usually the sound of warrior’s practising their moves but today it was unusually loud and chaotic. Curious, I moved toward the ground only to find a crowd gathered at the bleachers, cheering madly. A girl and a man double her size were fighting each other on the ground, their fierce moves were being pounded on each other at the speed of lighting. I could not even see when an attack landed and the next one came. The man was a heavily muscled warrior with tattoos running from his hand to up her biceps. His body was like those fighters in the arena that we usually saw in big wars. The young girl was perhaps in her early twenties, a tall one at perhaps five point seven height, but still shorter than the man. She wore leather pants and a sleeveless vest that hugged her form tightly like a second skin. Her ponytail flew in the air as she moved. The man
“What are you doing at the pack house?” I asked as he came to stand in front of me. “Came here to met someone,” he replied with a smile, “the thought since I am already here, why not have dinner here as well today. Not a problem, is it?” “Of course not. Enjoy yourself. I have to go and cook.” I bid him goodbye and walked toward the kitchen while Hardy turned around to sit on the couch with other people. It was weird to see him make himself so comfortable here as he was a new person to the pack. And he came here to meet someone? I wondered who? A girlfriend maybe? Shrugging off all the thoughts, I went inside the kitchen to cook dinner. Soon the table was set up and everyone had arrived, taking their seats. As usual, omegas were the last ones to take seats after serving everything. As I was about to go and take my usual seat, I noticed someone else had already occupied the place. I stilled for a moment, hesitant and kind of more than hurt for some reason. Burying down my feelings, I
Shock ran through me and I flinched back like I had been hit. My palm shot up to wipe off my mouth immediately as a sensation of throwing up right then and there ran through me. My face must have showed my feelings clearly because when I lifted up my eyes, I saw the hurt flashing through Hardy’s eyes and the smile on his face disappearing.“Sorry. I-” I started to apologise for my lack of manners but he interrupted me,“No, I am sorry, I was just too much attracted to you.” he said with a small, uncomfortable smile while scratching the back of his head cheekily. His words gave me a bit of assurance and confidence. I straightened on my feet and flicked him on the forehead with a smile, “Don’t do that again. You are not my type!”Embarrassment covered his face as he groaned, “You just gave me my first rejection.”“This is the only first you are gonna get from me.” I smirked, and walked away to go to the class.***As I went to Alessio’s room to clean up, I noticed that he was not there.
Shivers ran through me, but they were more because of a bad feeling instead of a good one. I harshly pulled myself out of his grasp, throwing him away from me and snapping, “First of all- keep your fucking hands off of me!” my eyes were burning with suppressed anger. First that asshole and now Hardy had something up his arse with this weird behaviour. What the hell was wrong with him lately? “And what is so fucking interesting about alpha position?” I raised my eyebrows, hissing the words in exasperation, “I don't own anything now!” He was staring at me calmly, a smirk playing on his lips as he slipped his hands inside the pockets of his trousers and muttered, “I can give it back to you. Everything that you lost, it can be in your hands again.” He stopped for a moment, perhaps savouring the surprised look on my face at his words, “The rightful heir.” I was shocked and confused at the same time. As I stared at the young boy in front of me, there was no trace of the gentle, sweet per
I stood in front of Hardy, breathing heavily. I knew I looked like a freak with my wild hair all over the place and my terrified, anxious gaze.“Why should I believe you?” I asked. My voice was not shivering but my mind was in a turmoil and the memories of that dream which had felt so, so real a few minutes ago were haunting me. I could still hear their voices. I could still feel the touch of their breaths on my skin as mom had sobbed so miserably with sad eyes and dad had refused to even spare me another glance with his lips pursed in repulsion toward me.Hardy looked surprised at my question. It took a moment for him to fathom what I was talking about as he straightened, and asked with a sceptical stare, “So you agree to my proposal?”My face had long lost all the colour. I knew my face was white as a sheet when I reminded him coldly, “You are a nobody. Why are you so sure that this is going to work?”“Because I am not alone.” he immediately spoke up with pride. His face tilted up an
My mind was in chaos and my body was buzzing with the closeness of his touch. I could not even answer to him as I stared into his dark eyes that were somewhat covered with a few wet curls that were falling on his forehead. With my heart in my throat, I silently stared into his eyes until he straightened on his feet but he did not step back to create any distance between us. I could touch him with my body if I moved even an inch. And I was scared of moving and filling that one inch of gap. The feeling of wanting to fall into his arm was tempting, but I had to control myself and keep that temptation at bay. “Wish me luck.” he muttered, his one hand slipping inside the pocket of his trouser and the other one pushing back the curls from his forehead. I looked at him in confusion. What was he talking about? I had literally forgotten all about everything else but him and his hot body against mine. “Say it.” he repeated softly with hooded gaze, and his head tilted to the side, “come on.
I followed Alessio outside toward the pack ground as the announcement about the contest getting started echoed in the air through the loudspeaker. The muscles on his naked back were straining with each step. For the contest he was wearing a black trouser and nothing on top. The abs on his fair chest, and the v line going down to his ‘ahem’ area was visible to the naked eye. Those trainings in the morning were definitely paying off greatly. I had to concentrate on the ground with too much concentration to avoid getting caught drooling over his body. As much of as a-hole he was, there was no way to avoid the temptation he induced inside me. The pack house was empty as everyone had already left the pack house and gathered on the ground. The evening sky had started to cover the sun and darkness was about to engulf the place soon. I stopped in my tracks when Alessio suddenly stopped walking. He roamed his eyes all around the gigantic arena which was now filled with people. The whole spac
The assassin suddenly shifted his arm, the gun in his hand moving toward me. My eyes widened in shock as I stumbled back on my feet in fear. Alessio was just as shocked as me as he turned his head toward me and then back to the assassin. “Drop that weapon right now.” Alessio said in an authoritative, threatening voice, “you are inside the pack house. You will not get out alive!” The man appeared unaffected by the threat. His voice was a heavy, and deep one, much like his big form. He looked about seven feet tall, and his body was that of a monster size with big muscles. “Sorry Alpha, we can not keep a traitor alive.” “What?” I whispered, his words were increasing my fright with each passing second. The assassin’s eyes were pinned on Alessio while his gun stayed pointed in my direction. One move from Alessio and he would shoot me. His stance was clear. “She planned to kill you and Luna Gloria.” he took slow steps in our direction, getting closer, “I was tasked to keep an eye on h
Five Years Later…“Not going to work out.” I mumbled, stuffing the file I had in my hand in the drawer.“It is going to work out.” Nia frowned, “I gave him a kiss.”“On the cheek.” I tried to hold back my smile, “you kissed him on the cheek. The situation required a minimum of a blowjob, girly.”Nia leaned against the couch, sipping her coffee. Since we had gotten a bigger office because now we were making changes to all the packs that Alessio owned, not only Bloodmoon, the workload had increased. Nia had been helpful since the very beginning though. Diana had moved out, and gone to the city to have a new life with her human partner who had had werewolf- human parents. They had met at a grocery shop one day, somehow hit it off, started dating secretly and the next thing I know, we are getting a surprise announcement from Diana saying she is getting married again. We met the dude though. There was no way we were going to handover our sweet Diana to a total stranger.Turns out he was f
Alessio drove us home in his car.He was silent.I was silent.I was feeling a good deal of relief. There was the distinct possibility that my life was going to go back to normal. I’d never been a fan of normal, in fact, I avoided it at all costs, but now it sounded really good to me.I kind of wanted to ask Alessio if it was truly all over but I could tell Alessio didn’t feel in the mood to talk. I could tell this because there were scary “not now” vibes bouncing around inside the car so I figured talking about this later would be better.Lara was in much better shape than me, thankfully. Since they did not have any use of her, they had just dumped her in a dungeon far away from the main house and gave her food every two days. I was pretty sure that it was not by choice though. Seth was overly cautious of not letting Alessio find him at any cost. Hiding Lara in a dungeon and leaving her there must have been the part of his plan because Lara is a warrior, much stronger and smarter tha
MiaWhen the dust settled down, I saw Daniel standing right there, his gun in his hand and it was smoking.Thank… you… God.It might seem terrible that I was thanking the good Lord that someone got shot but if divine retribution came in the form of Daniel and his silver revolver, I was not going to quibble. Before I could react, or look around to see where Alessio was, I heard from behind me in a voice I did not recognize.“Step away from the girl, and get down on your knees.”It wasn’t Alessio. It was a man with yellow eyes, holding a gun directly to Seth’s temple.Wow.“Take him back, Jacob.” Daniel said and Seth and yellow eyes moved back several steps.Daniel came forward, gun pointed at the man on the floor who was rolling around, hands holding his thigh, blood seeping between his fingers.I stared in horror. I wasn’t really good with blood and there seemed to be a lot of it.“Is he still alive?” I asked in a trembling voice. The man that Seth had abused, he was still alive!Dani
Alessio“I can’t risk getting wrong info about this, you know that, right, Jacob?” I questioned the bounty hunter in front me.Jacob cocked his to the side, raising his brow, “When have I ever disappointed you?”I thought about it for a second. The number came to zero. That is exactly why I had chosen him to trace Mia. “This is about my mate.” I replied quietly, taking the tablet from his hand to scroll through while keeping my eyes locked with his yellow ones, “I can absolutely not risk any wrong information for this case. If anything goes wrong, I am gonna have your neck on the table before I burn everything to the ground.”Even though I trusted Jacob because not only he was smart, young, and almost as fast as me when it came to fighting and hiding his traces, it was hard for me to put Mia’s life into someone else’s hands. “I am aware of that.” Jacob straightened, his serious gaze transfixed on me, “I already double checked everything, you don’t need to worry.”***“Come at me.” J
The Next Day…My body hurt in places that I did not even know could hurt. There was nothing but agony filling my whole being as I washed hundreds of scattered dishes that were thrown in front of me to clean after breakfast.I had not healed at all. My body was still wrapped up in bandages and some wounds were still leaking a bit of blood. My face and neck were severely swollen, and I had become unrecognisable. Seth did what he had said while accepting what I was desperately hoping for.I was out of the dungeon, out of the hospital room confinement, but Seth made sure to inject me with a scent hiding potion, and a potion that entirely made me ugly and an old age woman instead of myself so that even though I lived here, no one would recognize me as Mia. There were about ten men in his clan. All of them were strong, buffed up people with dangerous looks in their eyes. Scars covered them, and they were just letting Seth take the lead because Seth was smarter and more ruthless than them.
Harry looked like he did not want to, but then seeing the ‘no- negotiation’ look on Seth’ face, he turned around and walked out of the room.Seth walked up to me, his eyes going from my bandage-wrapped forehead to my severely swollen face which had a huge tape stamped on the one side of my cheek, my neck, down to my arms, wrists, and legs which were also in the same condition. Not broken, but heavily injured and wrapped in bandages to stop the bleeding.“Harry did a good job on you, it seems.” he smirked, laughing a little as he sat down on the chair next to my bed, “oh Mia… when are you going to learn?”“Learn what?” I croaked out, even though it hurt my throat and my face like shards of glass were digging inside my skin.“That anyone in this clan or anyone outside of it can break you into tiny little pieces and throw your body to the dogs without blinking twice.”“Are you worried about me?” I mocked.Seth smiled, “Of course. Don’t you see me crying tears of blood here, my sweet sist
Mia‘Misha…?’ I croaked through the heavy slumber.Again, there was nothing but silence.‘Please, Misha.’ I whispered.Disappointment and anger were filling me now. I could not move at all. My helplessness was perhaps showing even on my face as I fought to stay conscious even through the pain that was engulfing me completely. If only I could come in contact with Misha, I could shift, fight my way out, or at least, get better faster with my wolf healing powers. I could also try to mind link with Alessio. But like every other damn time, Misha had betrayed me when I needed her the most. But it was probably not her fault. She must be suppressed by these assholes already so I don’t fight back.Plan A was to wake Misha up by putting my own life at risk. Failed. Just got injured badly. When lives were threatened, our wolves usually come out to protect the human form as wolf form is stronger. But there was no sign of Misha until the very moment I fell unconscious.Plan B, try to get in touch
Alessio’s POVFor a few moments, my mind went blank. All the commotion faded in a deafening silence and the bad thoughts rushed in. The past flashing in front of my eyes became my new reality, and the same things happening to Mia with her being helpless and no way to find a way out sent shudders down my spine. I closed my eyes tightly to block everything that was trying to swallow me like a black hole. I could not think about all of that right now. Mia…I opened my eyes again, my eyes turned blue as my wolf rushed to the surface. The only thing that stopped it from fully taking control and rushing to find Mia was the sight of fire all around and the little bit of sense of responsibility that I had left inside me to save all these people. The sounds came back and the silence faded slowly. The visions of past blurred and fire took place in my eyes. People were still screaming, shouting, murmuring. I looked at Daniel, “Find a way out. Call the territory guards.”“You don’t need to pret
My head throbbed in tension and pain while the terrified feeling in my whole body made me shudder. The room started to leave goosebumps on my skin as the coldness of the wall increased with each passing second.Worry for Lara’s safety was eating me alive from inside. All I could think about was what must be happening to her right now? Would she be okay? Is she hurt? In pain? What if Seth does what he told me? I could not stay here tied up like this! Lara had done everything from me! She did not even know who this bastard is! I could not let her be in danger.I kept on twisting the ties on my wrists until I could hear the sound of each drop of my blood falling down on the ground bit by bit. I had been screaming for hours for guards. I did not know what excuse I was going to use, but I only needed one of them to com
