Balance of Fear

Brandon POV

"That was something." I said sitting on my desk. The crowd celebrate for a little while, but we needed to get setup. We already had groups camped out in the woods and everyone ready at their stations waiting for word of an attack.

"That was amazing. You are amazing." Barry walked to me, separating my legs and moving his hard body between them.

"I haven't been amazing, Barry. I don't even know how we pulled together as we did. Only yesterday Danny's pack was fighting ours and demanding Sophia's head."

"Now, they are united. Give yourself some credit, mate." His lips moved to my neck. Kissing me on my mark was a damn cheap shot. He knew how hard I got when he did that.

"Barry, mmm, baby, we need to finish closing the pack house and get in position." I moaned as my head fell back. We really didn't have time for this.

"I think you are in the perfect position." His hands grabbed my belt, yanking hard on it that it ripped in half.

"Barry!" I scolded him. I needed that belt.

These two are so cute. Barry for him to be so outwardly strong and inwardly vulnerable is a struggle. Yet Brandon is there to show him it's ok and that he's loved. Oh, so touching.
