Chapter 62

WHEN I opened my eyes, I immediately searched for Katriona by my side but she was no longer in the bed. I would have been alarmed if I didn’t hear the sound of water dripping in the bathroom. She was taking a shower. I glanced at the digital clock and was surprised to find out that it was now past seven in the morning. I hadn’t slept this long since we stopped sharing the same bed.

Sleeping has been a struggle for me for the past weeks.
