CHAPTER 118

Maleficent the Glutton was wide-eyed for a good moment. Her emerald eyes remained unfocused. Without blinking her eyes, her eyes remained transfixed to the three silhouettes beyond the cocoon of translucent red-colored wall of demonic energy. Crimson droplets dripped to the ground as her fists remained clenched. Her jaws locked while her mind went into a complete overdrive.

A deep sigh of relief not of her own broke the tensed silence between Maleficent the Glutton, Merlin the Necromancer, and Levi the Envious. It was the latter who sighed after recovering from the initial shock of being both protected and attacked at the same time with only a miniscule minute interval. Levi the Envious cleared his throat before he tapped his chest. “If we were hit by that celestial energy, we would have been dead meat.” He turned to Maleficent.
