"Maya…" She pointed straight ahead."Argh!!" Yandel screamed. The headlights of the Rachel's car casted its highlights on her, highlighting her cheek bones and red lipstick giving her a look like maleficent. Her hair was held back in a tight pony which helped to highlight her facial features even more."Why does she look like Maleficent when we just crossed her territory," Rachel whispered to Yandel."She looks fucking scary," Yandel said, locking his side of the door."No shit, get down you fucking pussy, she's your childhood friend," Rachel countered, unlocking the door back.Yandel slowly came down from the car, looking at a scary looking Maya, she was wearing black jeans with high boots and a red flannel crop shirt, to think that she is mostly sweet and nice most of the time didn't come to mind. Ever since Emily and Araceli told him about the possibilities of Maya being in love with him which he still found ridiculous of course, he didn't think things will be that weird between t
"Bastard…" Rachel muttered under her breath before sticking her phone back into her pocket, she looked up to see Yandel standing at the post of the passage way into the dining area."Jesus!" Rachel yelped, holding to her chest a bit as her heart raced erratically."We don't even look alike Celi," Yandel chuckled, making her roll her eyes."How long have you been standing there?" Rachel asked him, feeling a little uncomfortable, she could have been thinking out loud and he had heard her."Not long enough to be considered weird or freaky but long enough to here the most pissed off bastard I have ever heard," Yandel said, smiling sweetly at her while maintaining insane eye contact which made her stomach turn a little, no not really nausea but the kind of butterflies she has been avoiding."You can thank Xander for that, he definitely made that move intentionally, only God knows what else that evil bastard has planned," Rachel muttered under her breath."Have I mentioned you have the cut
You know the saying that goes, "no place like home." Well whoever came up with thst must have gone spent an awful lot of time away from their beds to realize this truth, she couldn't even deny it, her bed and pillow is everything to her not that the bed here wasn't comfortable, it was. In fact, it was a full queen sized bed and it had six pillows and a beautiful bed frame but it was not her bed so she only slept for like three hours and spent the rest tossing around trying to find a comfortable spot to place her head without stressing, feeling uncomfortable or hot.She even did some cardio during the night and tried some yoga to clear her state of mind and bring her peace but sleeping in Yandel's home was already enough trouble for her. She was put in the room next to Ace so she could check on him whenever she needed to during the night and she did check on him but somehow unlike her, he managed to make most of his night sleeping and snoring after such a long day of well deserved fun
"Good morning, Araceli," Emily greeted cheerfully, smiling brightly at Rachel who just gave a tight lip smile and ruffled Ethan's hair who was mindlessly wolfing down pancakes."How was your night?" Araceli asked, going to kiss Ace on the head."It was good, I can't say the same about yours though," Emily said, looking at Araceli carefully. She could see red marks around her eyes and her face was a little bit swollen."Rough night?" Emily asked."Don't we all," Rachel joked casually, sighing for what seemed like quadrillion time over the past six hours, she started to feel the stress and weight of a bad night on her eyelids. She really needed a vacation after all of this dramatic saga was over."Blueberries or chocolate chip pancakes?" Emily asked."Can I have both?" Araceli asked politely, pleading with her eyes, She knew Emily was a smart girl and she understood things are not right with her. So she served her both and gave her a peck on the head."I heard Yandel yelling, what was t
Rachel froze immediately he let out those words. The air was dead silent in the car, there was a barrier between them so Jeff didn't eavesdrop on their conversation, but what the hell did he mean by that, Did he know that she wasn't really Araceli? How would he even know? it's not possible. She has never slipped up or anything so what could make him say such."What…""I don't under..understand Ace, what do you mean by you have lost Araceli, you don't want to lose me too?" Rachel asked carefully, as her heart started to beat a little faster. If she had fucked this up, that means she was done for. All this while, she thought she was keeping Araceli's secret safe."I mean exactly what I said," Ace said, looking at her confidently, or was he really dreaming when Araceli appeared to him the night she had the accident that her friend would take over her body to take care of him."I don't think I understand you Ace…" Rachel replied, her tone was now a little higher than normal as she starte
"That fucker…"Amy hissed but not before apologizing for being rude and barging into Ace's room unannounced. She closed the door gently before working down the hall to check on the two other doors but they were locked. Which meant, Araceli's room could only be amongst the first two, she opened the second door to find Araceli smiling at her cunningly while lying on her bed swinging her leg back and forth like an excited kid waiting for a Christmas present."Oh you are worse than the devil himself," Amy exaggerated, narrowing her eyes at her which only made Rachel laugh more. Honestly, she couldn't remember why she changed the number of her room door when Amy asked, partly because she knew Amy was pretty predictable in the sense that she would always want to pull a stunt that didn't favor her or try to do something silly like how she used to call dibs on front sit wherever they were going out with Ricky and partly because she thought she had been to her room before so she replied kind
Well things escalated fast."So the first thing we are doing is changing your hair back to black bitch…" Amy announced with her hands on her chin looking at Rachel's brown hair. Rachel looked at her through the mirror and couldn't help but giggle at how serious she looked right now but she wouldn't dare interrupt her, she couldn't begin to pay for taking Amy off her work mode, she had already purchased some dye remover plus some black dye to darken her hair."But why did you change your hair color? I mean don't mind me, it looks really beautiful and natural. I just don't understand why you would change it," Amy asked her. How could she tell her that she was asking the wrong person, that she woke up on the hospital bed with that on her head, but she never even bothered to change it because she herself was a brunette so she didn't think Araceli had black hair and the black roots blended well into the brown, you would think it was intention, just products of really good hair dye and a
"Shall we all get dressed, it's almost four and we have to be there for the red carpet…" Rachel said. She turned around to face Ricky and Ben but already found Ben staring at her weirdly, it made her heart skip a beat, and no not in that way, but in a weird odd chill way. He was staring at her boldly now, he really wasn't even hiding it this time around."You can stop staring when ever you have had your full," Rachel said, smiling a bit not to come off as completely rude or like she had a problem with him."Sorry if I made you uncomfortable,""You did make me uncomfortable," Rachel deadpanned. The air was getting tense from both of them staring at each other for a few seconds that felt like a very long minutes."I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable but you really spoke like someone I knew in highschool but that is impossible since you know—" He paused, pointing at Rachel before pointing at his immediate surrounding, which was the multimillion dollar mansion he was standing in.They d
