The table was set with all sorts of delicacies. At the center, a grand platter holds a roasted turkey, golden-brown with crispy skin, garnished with sprigs of rosemary and slices of orange. Surrounding it, there's a variety of vibrant dishes: a bowl of creamy mashed potatoes with a pat of butter melting on top, a plate of roasted vegetables, glistening with olive oil and herbs, and a dish of stuffing, fragrant with sage and studded with cranberries.

It looked beautiful, maybe she could distract herself from the issue at hand or the scrutinizing gazes for her, watching her every move at that table.
