Lily's POV.
Thirty minutes later, I was in the elevator, going down to meet my new family. At this point in my life, I wasn't expecting anything good from anyone but myself. The family might turn out to be much worse than my fiance... But deep down, I can't help but wish that they would be a little bit nicer to me.As the elevator doors chimed open, I stepped out, my hands clutching the silky fabric of my gown. A servant guided me with a polite gesture, and I obediently followed her through the labyrinth corridors of the vast mansion. I would have taken my time and admired everything but the fear ravaging my being would not allow me.The distant sound of my fiance's voice echoed through the halls, causing my heart to skip a beat. Would he be the same person who tormented me just moments ago? The uncertainty churned in me as we approached a set of double doors leading to a grand dining room. I caught a glimpse of people gathered around a lavishly set table, engaged in a funny conversation. It was an odd sight, but somehow it eased my anxieties… only slightly.Draco's eyes lit up as he spotted me, and a warm smile adorned his face as he rose from his seat. "Mom, Dad, and little sis, this is Lily Marcos, the daughter of the late Marcos Mal and my future wife," he introduced me with tenderness in his voice, I couldn't help but steal a quick glance at him, almost disbelieving that he could be the same person who had bullied me earlier."Goodness me, isn't she a beauty, Raven?" the older woman exclaimed, rising from her seat and making her way toward me. I greeted her timidly, and she enveloped me in a tight embrace. The flood of emotions I felt when she hugged me threatened to overwhelm me, but I held back my tears and returned her hug with a grateful smile."Mom, must you always indulge in these emotional displays?" Draco grumbled, breaking the tender moment. After the hug, I greeted his father, who acknowledged me with a curt nod, and his sister, who offered a strained smile."Come, darling, come and sit. Let's catch up," the older woman said, her smile genuine as she guided me to a seat beside her. "We apologize for the underwhelming welcome. We'll make it up to you soon. Your fiancé failed to inform us of your arrival today, but our scattered family members will return home to give you a proper welcome soon." Her words were comforting, and I nodded appreciatively as I moved to take my seat."Ohh, here comes the devil himself, Lily, come here and meet my twin brother." Draco's call interrupted my thoughts and I turned in the direction of his voice, only to freeze in my spot when I saw who he was referring to as the devil."Larry! I thought you'd never make it!" Draco's sister exclaimed, rushing to embrace the newcomer. Their mother joined in the joyous reunion, leaving me feeling a sinking sensation in the pit of my stomach. My legs grew weak, and I grasped onto the nearest chair for support. Though all eyes were on Larry, no one noticed my unease."Lily!" Draco's urgent call snapped me out of my stupor. I collected my scattered nerves and hurriedly approached him, my heart pounding in my chest as I lowered my gaze, wishing I could disappear. "Larry," Draco called, his voice tinged with excitement, "this is my pretty fiancée, Lily. And Lily, this is Larry, my twin brother.""Hello, sister-in-law-to-be," he drawled, his tone laced with an unsettling charm, "nice to meet you." With those words, he extended his hand towards me, his gesture seemingly friendly.I mustered the strength to meet his gaze as our hands connected, Larry's grip tightened, his hand squeezing mine, my fingers felt crushed within his tight grasp, and a sharp pang shot through my arm.A flicker of pain flashed across my face, but I quickly masked it behind a polite smile, unwilling to give Larry the satisfaction of knowing he had affected me. I returned his firm handshake as best I could, my hand trembling in his grip.As Larry released my hand, his smirk widened, revealing a glint of mischief in his eyes. It was as if he relished the discomfort he had caused, "It's really nice to have you here, Lily.""Come all of you, let's have dinner and Larry, you have so much explaining to do, what the fuck brings you home after years?" Draco asked as we made our way to the table."Nothing much, I just missed home and a little kitten escaped from me so I decided to come home and seek," Larry said with a laugh and my heart began to hammer harder against my chest. As the family settled down for dinner, amidst talk, I played with my meal, trying hard to answer all the questions they asked me. Most of the topic revolves around Larry, also I noticed the strain between Larry and his Dad. Maybe there was some problem, I couldn't care less because I'm in a bigger problem myself."Excuse me, I need to use the restroom," I mumbled and Draco nodded before waving me away.I walked till I found some open room and slid inside, dropped on the floor, and let the tears flow. I don't need to use any fucking restroom, I wanna go home, back to my Mom!"God, how did everything change all of a sudden? Why does it have to change? I just wanna finish school and live a better life with Mom... Why God? Why?""Larry... He wouldn't dare do anything to me. I'm his twin brother's fiancée, he would not dare any shits with me."I kept mumbling and sobbing till my eyes caught sight of a nice bed and I dragged myself there to lay down for a minute and regain my composure before leaving. There's no room for weakness in a mafia, I have to be strong if I wanna survive.I tried to fight the fatigue that overwhelmed me all of a sudden but I ended up sleeping off anyway."Hello Kitty... Wake up. Your fiance is looking for you."My eyes shot open immediately and I met face-to-face with Larry, a devilish smirk playing on his lips. The idiot was on the bed; I tried to move but I was trapped between his legs."Shhhh, don't say a word and don't move." He ordered and despite the calmness in his voice, I was forced to obey him.I lay there, facing him and his huge figure hovered over me, "I'm barely home yet and you already made your way into my bed, huh Kitty?"My eyes widened as I searched for words to defend my action."Don't worry, I'll give you what you want. You think you can run away from me, huh little one?""Let me go, I'm... I'm your brother's fiancée." I huffed trying to push him away but he trapped my hands above my head and leaned in so close till his lip were close to my ears,"You might belong to my brother now," his voice was a venomous whisper, his breath hot against my skin, "but you were mine first, Kitty." He whispered and licked my ear so gently that goosebumps covered my body."You're stupid! Do you have a death wish? If your brother finds out, he will kill you!" I shout-whispered but he only chuckled, bite my ear lobe before staring at me deep in the eyes and asked,"Are you gonna tell him, Kitty?”Lily's POV. "Hey, nerd! Wait up!!" a male voice called out. I knew exactly who he was referring to... me. But like always, I decided to brush him off. He was a curse upon my school life, an untouchable presence that I couldn't seem to escape."Ain't you the one I was calling, wonk!" he grumbled, forcefully snatching my hand and whirling me around so abruptly that I stumbled backward and lost my balance. My books slipped from my grasp, scattering across the ground in different directions. The impact of my fall rocked through my body, and a sharp yelp escaped my lips, "Ahhhh!!!"As I regained my composure and glanced upward, he stood there, looming over me, his eyes brimming with mischief and mockery. A small crowd had gathered, eager to witness the next move of the notorious bully.Summoning my strength, I rose to my feet, trying to ignore the throbbing pain radiating from my butt. I met his gaze head-on, anger igniting within me. It was hard not to notice his strikingly handsome fac
Lily's POV. I stepped out of the car sluggishly. A lot has happened today. I just wanna go into my room, take a shower and sleep. I have so much to do and little time to do it."Welcome, ma'am." Greeted one of the housekeepers and hurried towards me to get the stuff I was holding. I nodded to her greetings and began to look around, there were so many cars parked around the house. Yeah, we have many cars, lots of cars because my family is very wealthy, my father is a Mafia boss and I do not like him. I despised him for the way he treated my mother and me. He saw me as a burden, a waste of space, but he couldn't dispose of me easily since I was his only child, and he couldn't have another due to undisclosed health issues. Despite being his daughter, I was invisible to him.I planned to finish school as soon as possible, secure a job, and escape from this hellish house with my momma."Lisa?" I called out as we approached the house. There was an unusual silence from her today, which was
Lily's POV. As I waited for my flight to the United States, my mother tried to console me. "I'm helpless, Lily, and I am so sorry for everything that is happening to you. On the bright side, you will have the opportunity to complete your schooling before getting married. Just try to look at the brighter side, dear," she said, her voice filled with sadness.Look on the brighter side? What kind of ridiculous notion was that? My world was in darkness.School? What a joke. They were probably lying to me. My entire existence felt like a lie."Lily, please don't give me the cold shoulder. I know I'm not the best mother you could ask for, but I couldn't do anything. I just couldn't. You know how your father was... he's..." My mother's voice trailed off, her words choked with emotion."Mom, please, don't make this harder than it already is. I have nothing against anyone. Just leave me alone. I'm as helpless as you are. Please, Mom, don't stress about it," I pleaded, forcing a smile, even tho
Lily's POV. I was frozen in place, my body unable to move as Draco slowly rose from his seat and advanced towards me, his steps deliberate and menacing. It felt as though a predator was closing in on its helpless prey, and my heart pounded with each step he took. Panic surged through my veins, urging me to flee, but where could I go? I was alone and vulnerable.I squeezed my eyes shut, unwilling to witness the horrors that awaited me with Draco mere feet away. If only I could black out, escape this nightmare in an instant."Lily, look at me," Draco's voice commanded, low and breathy, causing a shiver of fear to ripple through me."I said, look at me!!!" he bellowed, his tone sharp and forceful, forcing me to snap my eyes open in terror."Please, don't do this now," I pleaded, my voice quivering, my legs trembling with fear.A deep, dark chuckle escaped Draco's lips as he stared at me. Then, without warning, he reached out and grabbed the straps of my top, yanking them so violently th
