Kian's POV:

It was nearly a day now. A day since Lessia had gone missing. I had called for a search party as soon as I heard of her mysterious disappearance. We combed through the mansion, rummaged behind and before it, scattered our way through the pack, every corner, every crevice and crack that we could search and think of to do some finding, we checked. But still, it was now 24 hours and she still wasn't found.

I had called for the guards stationed at the border to ask if they saw Lessia leave, or if they noticed any strangeness, but they insisted everything was normal. And no strange person was seen entering into the pack or leaving.

I interrogated all of them to be sure they hadn’t seen Lessia leave, and they all claimed the same thing.

I was running out of patience extremely fast. I spent the day with my hands twirling through my hair for the most part, severely impatient, disturbed and withered.

I almost called Maddox to ask if he had anything to do with Lessia’s disappearan
