The car veered sharply due to Timothy's interference, and at that exact moment, the person in the vehicle behind them pulled the trigger.

A dark silencer-equipped gun spat out a bullet, which cut through the air, leaving a white trail as it whooshed forward, followed by a loud bang.

The bullet didn't hit Mavis. Instead, it shattered the side mirror on her side.

Mavis jolted in shock and finally realized what was happening. She caught sight of the gun barrel behind them and instantly turned pale with fear. Her hands trembled, causing the car to swerve unsteadily.

Timothy's expression turned serious. When he saw that the person behind them was about to pull the trigger again, he didn't hesitate for a second.
