Chapter 150

A human anatomy model in the corner caught Timothy's eye. A meridian chart was pinned behind it. The model had numerous circles and dots on it with densely written notes. There were also several silver needles stuck into it.

Timothy was surprised to see this. "Are you studying acupuncture, Mr. Barton Senior?"

Marshall chuckled and replied, "Yes, I come from a long line of alternative medicine practitioners, so studying medicine runs in the family. Our ancestors were experts in ancient acupuncture techniques, but by this generation, those skills have become a thing of the past and are mostly forgotten. None of the younger members of my family know much about acupuncture anymore."

Timothy squinted slightly and observed the silver needles stuck in the model. Then, he smiled faintly. "This is the Orphic Octo Technique, but it's incomplete. Only the first three needles are correct, and many of the meridian positions are wrong."
