Williams looks at his watch for the fifth time, he seems to be getting pissed and if anything should happen, he would blow off.
He looked at Rosie, who stood beside him with black stuff hidden in the waistband of her pink suit jacket."I think he would be here soon, sir," She said with a straight face.
Williams smirked at the seriousness of her face, he stared at her from head to toe, observing the way the pink trousers and pink jacket made her look like a badass barbie.
He nurses the half glass of champagne he had been holding for the past ten minutes. He put his index finger into the cup and began to stir, mixing the champagne with the ice cubes."How did you know Karen was not at her place the last time I went there?". He slowly looks at her stern face and smiled, it looked more like a toothy grin " You know how I love to acknowledge".
On this fateful day, Melissa had to share the same table with Williams. All through the teaching, she kept on looking at his face, thinking about bad things she could have done if they were not occupied. Funny enough, the enemy didn't look at her for a moment, he just had his face glued to his book or listening to the course. He would look sad at some point, then lonely then angry at some point too. His looks meant nothing to Melissa when she was also having a different feeling on daily basis. It felt like magic but she seems to be falling in love with Williams day by day. And as she seems to be falling in love, her hatred for him increase, not after what she had heard him say to his brother. About Michael, he seems to be awkward, she should have felt that the same day he saved her for the first time. He just seems to despise his half-brother and at the same time act as he loves him.
That wasn't the best time to talk to her Dad, as she was in the middle of something enormous. She ignored the phone and waited to be introduced. "Ladies and gentlemen" The announcement began "We have a new being in our midst, she goes by no other name but Miss freckles". The crowd began to cheer her, she couldn't hide the facial expression, since she was never asked about a name.why on Earth would they give her such name? As she stood elegantly and beautifully, she decided to do a quick scan, not sure of what she was looking for but she did find something anyways. Melissa flinched, her heart began to beat faster than she could ever think of. Barely watching Williams seated beside her boss made her back crawl. Many discouraging thoughts began to invade her poor brain. 'What if he told Williams about her? What if he just came on his own and would reco
Lucky for Melissa, it seems to be Sunday, which means a free day for her. Last night's event kept on replaying itself in her brain and she couldn't do anything about it because she had agreed. Before the agreement, Melissa could just change her mind. The whole stuff and decided to just work as the dancer. Not only the money caught her attention, dancing for Williams seems tempting. Lazily, she rolled over her phone to put off her alarm that had been beeping for the past 1 hour. For a long time, she had not attended the church for she thinks nothing happens when she goes. When her mother was alive, she force the whole family to attend church, or she goes alone and lock them out. Melissa had not seen Karen yet and she deeply hopes the blonde stays where ever she decided to hook up. It's been almost an extra hour and she is still lat on the bed like a
Molly sat motionless, her legs in the pool as she stared blankly into the water, comparing the reflection of heavenly bodies. The moon was almost full and the stars shone brightly lit, making her want to wander away from the painful realities and the mistakes she had caused. Her residence had been a living hell for her to stay alone without getting drunk, she begged Leah and Sam to stay with her even if it would be for one night. As good friends, Sam and Leah decided to make her come over to Sam's house to have a slumber party. A party Sam and her old friends do have when they get worked out for too much homework in high school. They would sneak alcohol into Sam's room and get themselves drunk, hoping to sleep deep and escape the next day's wrath. But in this case, no one was allowed to get drunk, especially Molly, who couldn't get herself away from t
The next day at school seems a little bit more about Molly and her tattoo. Melissa couldn't just imagine the pain molly went through just to have that tattoo, funny enough, the date had the day they broke up. Melissa imagined Molly wailing, just as she did, she imagined her crying and felt relieved. After all, she wasn't the only one that suffered from the unexpected breakup. No matter now the tattoo melted her heart, Melissa couldn't just get herself to imagine been in love with Molly again. During the past weeks, she had learned so many things, especially how to hate people she wants out of her mind. Those people include Molly, her father, and Williams. But since she had been on good terms with Nicolas lately, she figured out hating them will never make things right, but giving them time to prove them wrong would be a fresh start. It was through that she
Locating Wabash Avenue UNIT seems difficult than Melissa could imagine, she had never gone too far from her apartment in Orrington Avenue in Illinois. It had been on rare occasions that she went to nice places like Ryan and Molly's neighborhood and she had never gone alone, especially not on the first day. Meanwhile, Williams had refused to do anything yet. Since he knew his mysterious redhead dancer would soon arrive and he couldn't stop thinking about Melissa, maybe sending her back would be a perfect idea. Even if he sent her back, it still wouldn't change the fact that he is in love with her and he couldn't help the bad fact that had been calling her every day her father. He imagines how terrible she would feel when she realizes that her father wants nothing to do with her at the moment. He went as far as reaching him in Oklahoma, where he now wants to start a new family. "Melissa
The afternoon was a warm one for the redhead, She had returned from her lecture for the day and decided to rest before going to dance for her second boss, Michael. Lately, Melissa had been working too hard, at times she would go to lecture in the morning, and her ballet practice in the evening. Since she now works for only the two brothers, she gets three days off the week, but when she has to dance, she makes sure she never misses any of her chores. Her studies were not excluded, she made sure she stays up late to finish her assignments. She wouldn't want to lose her scholarship even if it wasn't a full one, but at least, it helps her out of the cruel street of Oklahoma or Illinois, dealing drugs or having sex at the back of people's windows. As she lay on the bed, focused on her laptop, getting the answers for her assignment doesn't seem to be much of a problem. She just read it, think a
Williams stood transfixed, watching Karen like a ghost. His fist clenched as he walked close to her, no one noticed, not one person bothered to even stop him when they noticed but it wasn't too late to save someone's life."What did you do?" Williams grabbed her neck "Bitch! ".His eyes were dark, mean, and evil, They had lost all the loveable traits Melissa saw minutes ago. The smirk on his face made him tighten his grip as he hurled her to the wall." I hate to mishandle women," he said through clenched teeth as he stomps around the room, the feet making heavy noise.Melissa stood confused, she doesn't know if she should be worried about Karen's Smirk or Williams squeezing the life out of the blonde." I won't ask you again, Karen" It came out roughly, more like a threat than a sentence. As a wild man would have thought, Williams added something together and noticed something strange, Ka
Melissa couldn't wait to be told she would be in dept if she wait any longer. Since she refused Williams proposal, narrowly escape Michael's second death, she had been evading her friends and Williams. The fear alone that Michael might come for her made her keep her location hidden. For the past three weeks, she had been doing things the way she wants. Just like how she feels, in due time, Michael will get her back and she will never be free again. The way she watched him kill Luciano and Rosie made her fear for her life but she still want to leave her life the way she might be able to tell her children she did try her best to enjoy. Since lectures stopped days ago all she had to do is work to save up for rents. She always made sure to keep her phone off and dance for an unknown club every night. She gets to pay for different hotels to pass the night and send the remai
Williams couldn't believe his eyes, although it wasn't a huge television in front of him but he doesn't want to believe that. At least not now, not ever. "She might just be overwhelmed" he shrugged. Chasing her would be of no use so he called, asking his men not to let her out. He grabbed the bottle of tequila and rushed down the elevator. On reaching the last floor flat, he couldn't find her, he asked about her but they said they didn't see her run out. "Search the whole building" He yelled to his guards "Check the elevator, she might be trapped" They nodded and split, looking for Melissa. Williams kept making angry noises, he would yell and cuss, shouting at everyone that comes near him. He received a weird glance from customers and workers but he didn't care, he wants Melissa back and she must accept his proposal. "Sir" A female worke
At the back of the state, Melissa still couldn't take her mind of Michael as she sat with other dancers, waiting to be judged. She ignored the strange stare from other dancers like she has a plague or virus. "What happened out there?" Jake asked worried as he offered her a chill bottle of water "You look like you were about to faint" Melissa swallowed hard, she looked at Jake in silence as the suspense grew. Her gaze locked him his and she maintain it, trying to think about something else to talk about. "Did you can Michael?" She asked before she could stop herself. Jake froze, he stared at her like she had lost it and he pitied her. He took the bottled water she was holding and keep it on the floor. "You see this bottle" he pointed at it "Can I ask if you know the name of the person that filled it?" M
Melissa cried all through, getting to put a lot of makeup on her face made her look less of a lost drunk girl. About thirty minutes to their dance, Jake her partner decided to take their intro routine with her. "We are dancing FADED by Alen walker, not Salsa!" Jake said in surprise as Melissa missed the step again "You are not yourself, Melissa" Jake whispered as Melissa danced to him. According to the dance, they spilled and walked towards each other slowly on their toes. "Don't tell me you are nervous!" Jake seem pissed, he tried to hold Melissa but she stepped on him "Ouch!" "So sorry" Melissa stopped. Melissa kept breathing hard as she looked at his face, her shoulders dropped. She moved a tiny bit of stray hair behind her and sniffed. "What's wrong Melissa!" Jake seems worried, he rushed to her and hugged her "It's okay
Time waits for no man! Melissa found it difficult to sleep as all she could think about is how she would dance with Jared she didn't see all of the day. It had been days, three complete days that she had to lie to him about going to work while she had to dance and had marathon sex with Williams. Funny enough, she was supposed to see Williams that evening but couldn't get herself to. They had literally had sex five times since yesterday and she couldn't have it anymore. She lost her mind whenever she is with him. Memories of how they made love flashed back and she couldn't help but blush and become horny again. She rolled off the bed and walked to the kitchen to grab a can of beer. "You can't just keep ignoring me like this, Melissa " Karen complained. Melissa knew Karen had been around lately but she also had been try
"Let your body free, Melissa," Williams said for the fourth time. Dancing had been going fine until she began to act more rigid than she is supposed to be. He stopped her and asked her to take deep breaths. "You know how to make yourself free?" He asked and she shook her head, his brows flinched then he decided to overlook "Then how do you concentrate" "I just imagine I am in the ocean and can only survive if I dance like a piece of paper," Melissa said immediately. Although, that wasn't what Williams had expected he did make him smile. he asked her to get to the basic principles of ballet and stand on her toes which she did. "Now close your eyes " he whispered as he went behind her "I will teach you another way" Just as he said, she closed her eyes, waiting for the next Instructions. "To be light as a feather and have the strengt
Leah sat still, watching her surrounding like she was Alice trapped in wonderland. She brought out her phone and began to take pictures of the place. The place looks like a small ballet hall, just like the one Melissa train in almost every day. Williams had brought it for Melissa to practice in and get to know her friends more. He knows that if he can get Melissa to trust him again that the rest girls won't be a problem except Molly, who kept finding fault in all he does. Leah could not believe Melissa had been taking dance lessons from Williams in order to win the best ballet dancer for Loyola college this year. It's almost twenty minutes late from the time they all talked about and no one had arrived except for Leah who seems to be getting bored and angry. "Remind me what I am doing here again" she yelled, she looked around, shrugged, and grinned "Oh poor Leah, you are here to watch Melis
Melissa couldn't contain her surprise and anger. Even if she wanted to go after Williams that had left about two minutes ago, she should at least obey his rules that asked her to stay there till he get back. "Michael is gone?" She repeated. For the first few seconds, she didn't get the statement well or understand what the person meant. She slapped her hand over her forehead so hard that she might get it red. Although she still has a strong hatred for Michael deep down, she never wished for him to die too soon. "Poor Williams" she gasped. Ignoring Williams's simple warning of not leaving the room, she walked out the door hoping to meet Williams maybe in grief over the death of his brother. "Thanks" she whispered to the maid the opened the last iron door for her. "Call me Rose" the girl smiled. "Like Rosie?" Melissa wig
Melissa woke up on hearing her alarm sing for the third time, something she never likes for a bit. She rolled off the bed and walked to the kitchen to get a bottle of water only to find Karen passed out on the couch. "Karen" she whispered. At first, she had wanted to rush to her, pull her hair and slam her against the floor but something stronger than anger kept her from moving. Mere looking at Karen, you could tell she is as good as useless. Her make-up seems too much, her clothes barely covered her body, her pants were still on her ankle, and her hair was rough. She must have had sex on that couch. She decided to ignore her and do whatever she need to execute. About aA few minutes later, she walked out of the kitchen with a cup of coffee and toasted bread. Wrong combination but her taste for weird food seems to expand each day. She quickly took a quick b
