Melissa walked gingerly about her room getting all her things in order, she ignored the person knocking at the door as she made the finishing touch on her belongings.
"I will be leaving for Barcelona before I get to Oklahoma," Nikola said immediately he opened the door without warning "I have saved my number on your phone two nights ago when your friends brought you back home drunk".
Melissa angled her head in his direction and looked away as soon as she had turned.
"We are not kids and I know that you know I'm only doing this for the best of you".
She ignored him, walked to her bathroom then returned with her bathing soap, she couldn't forget that because she love it so much. Even more than the person that called himself her father.
"You have always been so selfish and self-centered!". Nikolas yelled, "I give the shit about you that's why you are still alive and free because I care".
Then it hit Melissa, she wore her head warmer as she gave him a daring look. She moved close to him quickly like she wanted to stab him or smash his head against the door he was leaning on.
"Why the fuck do you think I care if you are doing anything for me" Melissa blinked vigorously as she fought to hide the tears burning in her big brown eyes.
"The fact that your mother, who is my wife died a few years after I got married to her doesn't make me a bad person". The anger in Nikolas's voice was audible "Or an irresponsible father".
"You are not my father!".
"The second fact you had to leave under my payroll, got the scholarship to your dream school, and have people to watch over you made me much better than your biological father who asked your mother to abort you or he leaves".
Hell broke loose, Melissa stood still. She couldn't remember when she let the tears roll down her eyes but she could feel it wet the soft fabric.
"I -You know nothing about my father!".
"I know enough since you were not even born, had to be born, made your mother go through hell-" Nikolas walked away from her and walked to the door "I don't want to say much Melissa, but if you want to be a normal child as your late mother would have loved you to then act like one, you aren't longer a goddamn child but a young adult!".
He didn't go out, he stood still as if waiting for a reaction or response from his daughter. He shook his almost bard head in disappointment as he made to move out of the room.
"I don't seem to care what you think you must have done for me" Melissa sterned "But I will promise to be at peace with everyone, I won't have to call you".
She left her previous position, walked to the bed, and grabbed her bags, heading anxiously towards the door.
"I will do all it takes so I will never call you in my entire life".
The door banged a few inches away from Nikolas's face as Melissa walked out dragging along her bags. It took her solid eight minutes to get to the truck.
"I can still drive my ungrateful daughter to her new place".
Nikolas passed her, walked past the car, and open the door. He picked the car horn several times as she remained stolen eyeing both him and the truck.
"I don't care if you walk one thousand kilometers" He scoffed as he twisted the key and started the car "Just let your things get in and then you can walk till your legs get short".
The ride was a very boring one, Melissa kept changing the radio to get a good song that could maybe match her mood.
She smiled to herself as she began to imagine ungodly things she would do as she got her freedom. Becoming social would be her first assignment, getting a lot of boyfriends; hot ones to be precise, keeping late nights, and lots of parties.
She finally settled the music on calling me by your name by Lil mas x. She felt her father's eyes burn her left cheek as he switched the music to the next.
"I can't have you listen to that cramp".
She snorted, pressed the reverse button looking straight into his boring eyes, it was obvious she wanted a fight.
"I know you want something just spill it".
"I need this truck" she blurted "I can't always walk to school or anywhere I wanna go."
"I can't" Nikolas replied, his expression showing her was getting over irritated "You don't have a driving license".
"You refuse to give me one!".
"Because you refuse to open your eyes while driving" He shot "Even after I begged you keep on closing your eyes scared of the harmless moving vehicle".
"I can still push that aside".
"If you want a ride, get your driving classes right, obtain your license and I get you one".
"But-".
"We are not done talking, or you want me to drop you here. I bet you rather walk a few blocks to see your roommate".
If someone doesn't look well, they could mistake Melissa for a red alien. Her cheeks were fluffy and red, her big brown eyes looked very angry while her tangled red hair had spikes.
"You need to see your face!". Nikolas burst into laughing "Oh hell, you look like a fucking alien. Sorry, mind language".
"I am not a baby" Melissa yelled "If the driver has thought me well I won't be afraid".
"Now you blame the poor man, I thought you had a fake eye problem that goes almost blind whenever you take hold of the wheel".
Melissa paused for a moment or two, she turned slowly to Nikolas then back to the almost dark street. Of course, she was pissed but she would not let him step on her precious tail, she rather hid it between her surprisingly bigger butt.
"Fuck puberty sucks, but growing ass and boobs are my favorite". She once told Molly.
They arrived at a building, not far from a big Store in the quiet street. The street lights were not too dim but one could not help but strain the eyes before one could see a dim color.
Going away from a person you had known for a long seemed scary but going to leave with someone your barely know seemed like the scariest thing to think about.
Melissa stepped out of the van, she let the cool breeze kisses her skin as she went over to the boot to park out her things.
"Care to give me a hand Mr. Nikolas?".
"No thanks" Nikolas matched her sarcasm with his boring hazel eyes "At least 'Daddy, please would care to give me a hand' goes a long way".
The shock on Melissa's face made her red as her nature, she exhaled sharply as she began to offload it all by herself. She would never call the man that killed her mother daddy to his satisfaction.
"In case you forgot your room number is '404' " Nikolas yelled as she dragged two pieces of luggage into the apartment "On the tenth floor and I will just have to fold my lazy arms and wait for her since you refuse to call me Daddy. Honey".
Honey!!?
"Where the heck does that seem to come from?" Melissa asked herself as she punched the tenth button in the elevator "Why is he trying to act all nice these days?".
Locating room 404 wasn't a big deal to her, just as her Nikolas had explained it was on the left side on the tenth floor. She knocked for what seemed like a century before she gave up.
"I can help you carry your purse" Nikolas offered "I don't want to be too lazy".
"There is no one in the room".
"Oh! My bad" he exclaimed "She went out on a date, I have a spare key" he offered her the key as he attempted to carry her purse "I know how you like to ignore people so she would never be a problem to you, great news she would be only seen in the morning".
Melissa huffed as she grabbed the key roughly from the elderly man's grip. She groaned as she struggled with her things. She cast Nikolas a pleading look before moving on.
"Don't give me that look" he put both hands in his pocket "Heaven knows my hands are occupied."
"In your pocket?".
"You won't blame me, someone refused to call someone daddy".
"Why the hell am I still talking to you, I have no business with you anymore" she scoffed "Just got away, you have done well, now let me die with my loads".
Nikola mentally rolled his eyes as he ignored her rude comment. He walked ahead of her to the door and open it with a different key. He grinned at the surprised look on his daughter's face and shrugged.
"You know it is better to duplicate keys at Times" he opened the door as she dragged her things into a pink world "I see you got barbie as your friend".
Melissa's face frowned in total disgust as she pushed the last bag inside the apartment. She sat down on the neatly made bed assuming it would be for her. Her big brown eyes scanned the room, it had a sitting room, kitchen, bed room and a small space at the corner. "Great!" She said as she lay down "I have to be struck in this place, where the whole rooms almost appeared in one room" She kicked her shoe off impatiently "Let me assume that small corner over there" she pointed to her left. "Actually its on your right". "Ok" she point right "Is the bathroom". "Actually that is the store". "What's up with the 'Actually' Dad!". "The bathroom is at the other end" he pointed at a passage she just noticed "Isn't it nice?".
"That's the point" Melissa sounded disappointed "Its Karen". Molly rushed out of the kitchen, holding the lemonade bottle. She rushed to Melissa like she was scared something was about to get hold of her. "You are kidding right?". Sam giggled "OK! You got me". "I'm not fucking kidding" Melissa frowned "Or does this look like a joke to you?". She walked towards the beds and grabbed the picture she was scared of. "What in the black Jesus!" Molly yelled "That fucking look too real". Melissa scoffed as the three girls passed the picture like it was a target and the were the assassin. She stood for a couple of minutes expecting the would snap out of their little show and return the picture but they seemed to be deeply in lost. "Did i enchante you all with the picture?".
"Williams!?". Williams scoffed as he picked up his black card. He his smirk had turned into something uncertain. "Williams". "What?" He yelled "What the heck! You just called my name for the third time red head". "My name is Melissa not red head" She frowned slightly "What the hell are you doing in my apartment?". Her eyebrows connecting. "Your apartment?". Melissa both arms were folded under her heavy breast, tapping her right foot impatiently with her weight totally rested on the left leg. She unfold her hands, slightly showing Williams the bat like it was a very scary weapon. Williams on the dead end stood erect with his mouth and eyes open. His gaze zeroed on Melissa's chest as she rant about how she hate him, how she would call t
"Camila, playboy is here to see you". Someone announced. A half naked lady nodded slightly to the person that delivered the message. Camila look super hot, her big artificial breast stood firmly above her half push-up bra, her p*ssy line showing beneath the net string pant she wore. Her large artificial cheek butts wasn't plain, it had different colours and drawing of orthodox sighs, Italian language, a black butterfly and a pink snake leading up to her back and connectes to another drawing. Her pink hair stop right about her collar bone exposing the drawing of a dick and crucifix she drew on her back. Williams walked in the dark room, dark in the sense that it had just a red bulb. He found her stuffing something into her bra as she shook her pink hair. "You dyed and cut your hair?". He asked as she walked to a c
Half pass the appropriate time, Melissa rushed out her room, running to the elevator. One thing she hate about elevators is waiting for it to reach her flat before she would meet another stranger. Her head pounding, the alcohol she took with the girls last night did no good to her. It was Making her head ache like there were warriors fighting in her head. At first she wasn't so good at drinking alcohol but since she had been on watch all through her live, not do have 'fun', not to drink alcohol more than a shot, not to have a boyfriend, not even to keep friends at all. There was no one to wake her, disturb her to leave the house on time or someone to yell at her about random things. She missed that noise, that feeling of having someone to yell at, someone to hate and love at the same time. After her step dad had dropped her off at her apartment few
Melissa stood still like she was in a movie and tha pause button had been used. She looked at Molly's face, the smile so bright that one could mistake her for an angel. "You got that for me?" Molly nodded as she handed Melissa the box, who in return tore the small wrappers away. The diamond necklace felt like the whole earth to Melissa, she screamed, jumping round she jumped on Molly. Boldly kissing her lips. "Thank you so much". Molly smiled, if there was anything else she would want is to make Melissa the happiest person on earth. She enjoyed watching her scream saying things she couldn't even understand. Melissa caress every bit of the necklace, blinking back the tears in her eyes she gavw it to Molly, took her hair up and turned around.&
"Bye babe". Melissa shouted as Molly dropped her at her apartment. She would love to stay with Molly for a couple of days but she had to do everything gently, even when she obviously knew she had no future with Molly. Who would want to get stuck with a woman! She want kids, lots of the. She want dick, lots of them. She need money, lots of them. And the only way to do such is to move with the flow. As a young adult, she thought she still had the advantage of making more amd fast money. She felt it wasn't a big deal that her step father made it feel like. She had her clothes to buy, she had to get keep up with the rent, she had to get food or she starve, she also need to get a new phone. A phone!! Ryan's phone came to her mind as she screamed, she absolutely forgot abo
Karen chuckled, she quickly cover her mouth with the back of her palm as melissa and Williams starred daggers at her. "It doesn't belong to me" melissa said again "I have to go give it back". Williams grinned, his look zeroed on melissa's lips, if only she could read minds! Melissa would have been nowhere else but in his bed, screaming his name. He stood up, took karen's hand and with a slight bow and his signature smirk, he said. "If the person is a lady, beg her if it's a man, suck his dick". The dark sensation in his empty eyes explained alot. He placed a prolonged kiss on karen's bruised lips, watching melissa intensively from the corner of his eyes. They walked away with his hand wrapped around her thick waist, karen laughing at a joke Williams made. "You guys are De
Melissa couldn't wait to be told she would be in dept if she wait any longer. Since she refused Williams proposal, narrowly escape Michael's second death, she had been evading her friends and Williams. The fear alone that Michael might come for her made her keep her location hidden. For the past three weeks, she had been doing things the way she wants. Just like how she feels, in due time, Michael will get her back and she will never be free again. The way she watched him kill Luciano and Rosie made her fear for her life but she still want to leave her life the way she might be able to tell her children she did try her best to enjoy. Since lectures stopped days ago all she had to do is work to save up for rents. She always made sure to keep her phone off and dance for an unknown club every night. She gets to pay for different hotels to pass the night and send the remai
Williams couldn't believe his eyes, although it wasn't a huge television in front of him but he doesn't want to believe that. At least not now, not ever. "She might just be overwhelmed" he shrugged. Chasing her would be of no use so he called, asking his men not to let her out. He grabbed the bottle of tequila and rushed down the elevator. On reaching the last floor flat, he couldn't find her, he asked about her but they said they didn't see her run out. "Search the whole building" He yelled to his guards "Check the elevator, she might be trapped" They nodded and split, looking for Melissa. Williams kept making angry noises, he would yell and cuss, shouting at everyone that comes near him. He received a weird glance from customers and workers but he didn't care, he wants Melissa back and she must accept his proposal. "Sir" A female worke
At the back of the state, Melissa still couldn't take her mind of Michael as she sat with other dancers, waiting to be judged. She ignored the strange stare from other dancers like she has a plague or virus. "What happened out there?" Jake asked worried as he offered her a chill bottle of water "You look like you were about to faint" Melissa swallowed hard, she looked at Jake in silence as the suspense grew. Her gaze locked him his and she maintain it, trying to think about something else to talk about. "Did you can Michael?" She asked before she could stop herself. Jake froze, he stared at her like she had lost it and he pitied her. He took the bottled water she was holding and keep it on the floor. "You see this bottle" he pointed at it "Can I ask if you know the name of the person that filled it?" M
Melissa cried all through, getting to put a lot of makeup on her face made her look less of a lost drunk girl. About thirty minutes to their dance, Jake her partner decided to take their intro routine with her. "We are dancing FADED by Alen walker, not Salsa!" Jake said in surprise as Melissa missed the step again "You are not yourself, Melissa" Jake whispered as Melissa danced to him. According to the dance, they spilled and walked towards each other slowly on their toes. "Don't tell me you are nervous!" Jake seem pissed, he tried to hold Melissa but she stepped on him "Ouch!" "So sorry" Melissa stopped. Melissa kept breathing hard as she looked at his face, her shoulders dropped. She moved a tiny bit of stray hair behind her and sniffed. "What's wrong Melissa!" Jake seems worried, he rushed to her and hugged her "It's okay
Time waits for no man! Melissa found it difficult to sleep as all she could think about is how she would dance with Jared she didn't see all of the day. It had been days, three complete days that she had to lie to him about going to work while she had to dance and had marathon sex with Williams. Funny enough, she was supposed to see Williams that evening but couldn't get herself to. They had literally had sex five times since yesterday and she couldn't have it anymore. She lost her mind whenever she is with him. Memories of how they made love flashed back and she couldn't help but blush and become horny again. She rolled off the bed and walked to the kitchen to grab a can of beer. "You can't just keep ignoring me like this, Melissa " Karen complained. Melissa knew Karen had been around lately but she also had been try
"Let your body free, Melissa," Williams said for the fourth time. Dancing had been going fine until she began to act more rigid than she is supposed to be. He stopped her and asked her to take deep breaths. "You know how to make yourself free?" He asked and she shook her head, his brows flinched then he decided to overlook "Then how do you concentrate" "I just imagine I am in the ocean and can only survive if I dance like a piece of paper," Melissa said immediately. Although, that wasn't what Williams had expected he did make him smile. he asked her to get to the basic principles of ballet and stand on her toes which she did. "Now close your eyes " he whispered as he went behind her "I will teach you another way" Just as he said, she closed her eyes, waiting for the next Instructions. "To be light as a feather and have the strengt
Leah sat still, watching her surrounding like she was Alice trapped in wonderland. She brought out her phone and began to take pictures of the place. The place looks like a small ballet hall, just like the one Melissa train in almost every day. Williams had brought it for Melissa to practice in and get to know her friends more. He knows that if he can get Melissa to trust him again that the rest girls won't be a problem except Molly, who kept finding fault in all he does. Leah could not believe Melissa had been taking dance lessons from Williams in order to win the best ballet dancer for Loyola college this year. It's almost twenty minutes late from the time they all talked about and no one had arrived except for Leah who seems to be getting bored and angry. "Remind me what I am doing here again" she yelled, she looked around, shrugged, and grinned "Oh poor Leah, you are here to watch Melis
Melissa couldn't contain her surprise and anger. Even if she wanted to go after Williams that had left about two minutes ago, she should at least obey his rules that asked her to stay there till he get back. "Michael is gone?" She repeated. For the first few seconds, she didn't get the statement well or understand what the person meant. She slapped her hand over her forehead so hard that she might get it red. Although she still has a strong hatred for Michael deep down, she never wished for him to die too soon. "Poor Williams" she gasped. Ignoring Williams's simple warning of not leaving the room, she walked out the door hoping to meet Williams maybe in grief over the death of his brother. "Thanks" she whispered to the maid the opened the last iron door for her. "Call me Rose" the girl smiled. "Like Rosie?" Melissa wig
Melissa woke up on hearing her alarm sing for the third time, something she never likes for a bit. She rolled off the bed and walked to the kitchen to get a bottle of water only to find Karen passed out on the couch. "Karen" she whispered. At first, she had wanted to rush to her, pull her hair and slam her against the floor but something stronger than anger kept her from moving. Mere looking at Karen, you could tell she is as good as useless. Her make-up seems too much, her clothes barely covered her body, her pants were still on her ankle, and her hair was rough. She must have had sex on that couch. She decided to ignore her and do whatever she need to execute. About aA few minutes later, she walked out of the kitchen with a cup of coffee and toasted bread. Wrong combination but her taste for weird food seems to expand each day. She quickly took a quick b
