In the dimly lit office of the Senator, the air was thick with tension as he learned about Nathan Quinn's unexpected departure with Amelie. His anger surged, and with a fierce determination, he dialed Nathan's number.

Nathan's phone rang, and after a few moments, he answered with a voice laden with resentment. "What do you want, Senator?" he spat.
