Chapter 30 - Face It

The Senator nodded, acknowledging the gravity of their conversation. "Mr. Huxley, I believe it's in both of our interests to proceed with this alliance."

A moment of silence hung in the air before the man known as Mr. Huxley removed his sunglasses, revealing piercing eyes that seemed to bore into the Senator's very soul. "I concur, Senator."

The Senator gestured for Mr. Huxley to take a seat, and the two men settled into a serious, yet cordial, conversation. Mr. Huxley began by expressing his gratitude for the Senator's acceptance of his offer.

"Senator Morgan, I want to thank you for considering my proposal," Mr. Huxley said with a slight smile. "I assure you that you won't regret this decision. Our partnership will open doors to unimaginable wealth and influence."
