SECOND SUBJECT WAS LIFELESS. The instructor's low energy while discussing was nerve-racking and my eyes were about to close while jotting down important deets about her discussion. I'm not even sure if I wrote the important terms. I just can't take this subject anymore. Sighing, I straightened my body and tried to wake myself up.
"Oh boy, I think I'll drop this subject," Laura whispered.
I glanced at her and she smiled at me, "what do you think?" She asked.
I sighed and rolled my eyes before answering. "This is a major subject, Laura," I whispered back, laughing a little. "Unfortunately, we can't," she sighed and looked back in front.
I'm so sleepy, when will she dismiss us? I mentally groaned and tried my best to focus.
After a little while, she finally dismissed us and I waved good bye to my classmates before heading out the room. Walking, my phone buzzed. It was a message from Jess, informing me that they're already in the field. I replied and told her that I'm coming.
The field was our escape spot in the campus. Ever since we started hanging out with one another, we've decided to make the field as our meeting place and some kind of sanctuary away from other people. Few students were also hanging out there but at least, we could avoid the annoying chatters of other students inside the cafeteria. And I'm glad most of them have rather sit in a crowded place than messing with the quietness of the field.
I arrived at the field after a couple of minute and I saw Kayle and Jess busying themselves with their phones. I walked closer to them and greeted them with my highest pitch. They were startled by my sudden appearance and so I laughed at them.
Sitting on the bench, I asked how they are doing and I abruptly heard groans from them.
"What's up?" I asked, peeling off the cover of the burger they bought for me. I must know because two more burgers were laid right in front of them, half-eaten, along with canned sodas.
"Our upcoming perf was postponed," Kayle said, pouting. "What, why?" I asked, munching. "There was a big problem. The script was nowhere to be found." She said, sighing. "What? Aren't you the one who kept the script?" I asked, shocked. "Nope, Leila insisted to keep the script. She's kind of a pain in the ass, sometimes," she said, rolling her eyes.
"So what's your plan?" I asked, still munching. "We have to pull everything out and start over," she once again sighed.
I reached for her hand and squeezed it. Jess did the same thing and we smiled at her, saying that everything's will be alright. I understand Kayle's frustration because this was her project, it was her first time to hold and captained a play but it turned out to be a mess.
"I've worked for this, I prepared everything, I processed everything and then in just a blink of an eye, everything went bad," she said, blinking the tears away.
"We're so sorry, Kayle. But hey, cheer up, everything will be okay," Jess comforted her and she just smiled at her.
"Don't worry, your org will surely do their best to pull this up. And if you need our help, we will wholeheartedly help you, okay?" I said, assuring her and she smiled, convinced.
"What about you, Jess, what's up?" I asked before chugging my soda. "Student Leadership Summit will be coming so we'll probably extend our time at the office for the following weeks preparing and processing papers," she said, kind of burnt out.
"And it means Presidents will attend, right?" I asked, hoping for a no as an answer. "Yep, just like the old times," she said, killing my hope. "Oh well. I hope you'll be okay. I know it will be very stressing and might burned you out but I hope you'll cope. Take a good rest, okay?" I said and she smiled at me. "I will. Besides, you're there to be my strength," she chuckled.
"Cheesy," Kayle said, faking a vomit. "Want me to kick your ass?" Jess asked, laughing. "Do it and I'll make you kiss Mark," Kayle rebutted, laughing. "Ew. Fuck off!" She answered, disgusted.
Mark Jimenez was Jessica's long-term suitor. He was our school's basketball captain and he's in no doubt, a hundred and one percent fuck boy. That's the reason why Jessica wasn't interested in him. He was making a move ever since freshmen days but Jessica was tough enough to reject him. She even turned him down when he asked her to be his acquaintance date.
"What's wrong with him?" I asked, laughing. "Yea, aside from being the notorious playboy, what's wrong with him?" Kayle asked, laughing as well. "He's so full of himself," Jess said, rolling her eyes heavenwards.
Kayle and I nodded and agreed with her. Mark always boast himself in front of the whole stundentry because he feels like he was the most handsome and hottest guy in school.
"Why Chandler's not coming again?" Kayle asked, eating her burger. "She said, she has something to do," I answered shortly.
Kayle nodded, devouring her burger. Then, a short silence happened.
"Oh, have you already seen Charlie?" Jess inquired.
I paused, picturing his happy face a while ago.
"Yea and he looks...happy," I said, smiling a little. "Are you okay?" She asked, concerned. "Yea, I guess so," I smiled and they smiled back at me. Reaching for my hand, they squeezed it, assuring me that they'll be right beside me.
"Pizza later, right?" I said, changing the topic. "Oh yea! You promised," Jess said, laughing.
They knew that I'm diverting the topic and they understood that I don't wanna talk about it because they knew, it still pains to hear even his name.
"But I'll be home late, I have to attend the org meeting," I said, pouting. "Oh, that's fine. If you want, I'll buy the pizza and pay me later at night." Kayle seriously said. "Oh sure! Give me the bill later," I said, chuckling. "I'm just kidding, pizza's on me tonight. But next time, you owe us two boxes of pizza," she said, laughing. "Awwe, I'm touched, sure, on me next time," I said, laughing back at her.
"Anyway, how's your hottie teacher?" Kayle giddily asked. I rolled my eyes before answering. "Still the hot teacher everyone is drooling over with."
"I swear, if I'll have a chance to have a one night stand with him, I'll immediately take him home," Kayle dreamily said. "Ew, you could do better," I said, rolling my eyes once more. "Fawn, I know I'm better when it's him," Kayle rebutted.
Jess laughed at us.
"You guys should stop fighting over sir Ignacio. He doesn't even know that we're talking about him," Jess said, still laughing.
"Really?" A manly voice spoke behind us.
We all looked behind and saw that it was sir Ignacio. With wide eyes, we all stood up when we realized it was him. Nervous and ashamed, we greeted him a good afternoon.
And then, he playfully smiled at us. Our lips were trembling and the smile were forcing was about to fall."Next time, schedule an interview with me to get to know me, okay?" He said, winking at us.
We nod at him and he left us afterwards. When he was gone, the breathing we were holding was finally released.
"Phew, that was close," Kayle said, looking at his back. "We're doomed," I said, looking at the man's back who's now walking away from us. "So stop talking and dreaming about him," Jess said, looking at his back as well.
I looked at Kayle and said, "you better stop dreaming about him, please be happy with your boyfriend now." Chuckling, she replied, "yea, will definitely do that."
And we all burst into laughter.
After our lunch break, we all bounced back to our respective buildings and our afternoon classes started. My first class was fun because our instructor was giving funny experiences as examples for us to understand his lesson. After an hour, it ended. I went straight to my next class together with my classmates and again, for the second time today, I saw Charlie.
This time, he saw me. My heart was beating so fast that I can't keep up. Our eyes met and for a short period of time, I felt the currency between us and it felt like we're in a slow motion scene but then, he looked away without even smiling at me. I felt like crying but I promised myself not to breakdown in front of him. So instead of chasing him with my eyes, I forced myself to continue walking and forget about him. He wanted disconnection and so, I'm giving him his own choice of medicine.
After my classes in the afternoon, I went straight to our org room. Few of my members were already there and they all smiled at me. I smiled back while walking towards my chair.
"How's weekend?" I smiled, asking each one of them.
"Weekend's fun because there were no homeworks and projects to do," Dorothy, our vice pres smiled while answering my query.
"That's right. All I had to do was chill," Cathy, the secretary said while smiling. "And movie nights on weekends without projects are the best nights of my life," Dom, the treasurer said while laughing.
We agreed to his statement and laughed. Few more members were coming in and they are all smiling at me and so, I smiled back at them.
"Anyway, I've heard what happened between you and Charlie. Are you okay?" Dorothy asked me with her sincere eyes.
Others heard what she have said and so, they all immediately looked at me, waiting for me to say something. I pulled a deep sigh in my chest and forcefully smiled at them.
"Yep, we...broke up and...I'm not okay but it's okay," I said with nothing but sincerity in my voice.
They looked at me with concerned eyes and all I did was to smile at them and shrug to dismiss the topic.
I've shifted the topic and I guess they all understood what I was trying to say. Fortunately, I shifted the topic well because they seemed like enjoying telling about their fun weekends. After a little while, Ms. Valdez arrived and with the most pleasing appearance, she warmly smiled at us while greeting us.
"Hello ma'am, nice to see you," I greeted her with my sincerest smile. "You too, Fawn. And nice to see you all today," Ms. Valdez greeted all of us and then we smiled back at her.
"Alright, let's get started with the meeting," Ms. Valdez said, opening the white board marker she was holding.
Instantly, Cathy opened her notes to jot down every details for our MOTM or Minutes of the Meeting. I also brought my journal out as well as my pen.
"First off, Leadership Summit will be happening soon and of course, our President must attend the 3-day training event," she said, writing. And when she's done, she looked at me and smiled. I nodded and smiled, agreeing to what she have said.
"The Student Body will process the papers and necessary things first before they could tell us the exact date and place. Right now, I'm just reminding our President and the rest of you as well since Fawn will not be with us for three days. Understood?" She asked, smiling at us.
"Yes, ma'am," we all replied.
"And whatever you may have learned in your training, you must re-echo it with the rest of the members. Alright, Fawn?" Ms. Valdez once again looked at me. "I will, ma'am." I answered and then she smiled.
Cathy on the other hand continued jotting down and I wrote down important details as well.
"Next week, we will be having our 7th year of Job Fair for the graduating students of our school," Ms. Valdez continued while writing on the board.
Our eyes widened a bit and I heard quiet giggles from my members. It means that we're excited to the upcoming event of our organization.
"Fawn and I will be handling the processing of the papers and scheduling our event," Ms. Valdez said looking at me waiting for my confirmation and so, I nodded at her.
"Dorothy together with the communications committee will be communicating with the target companies. Confirm their decisions immediately for us to find solutions if one of them are backing up, understood?" Ms. Valdez asked the team and they all nodded as a response.
"While Cathy together with the materials committee will be doing the props and shall make sure that necessary things will be set correctly and effectively. From technicalities to certain materials. Is that clear?" Ms. Valdez looked at the team and then they all nodded at her.
"Dom with the rest of the members will be communicating to Cathy's committee for the budget. Dom will be the handler of our fund and he and the rest of you will be encharged to the food and material expenses. Clear?" Ms. Valdez looked at them and they all agreed.
I continued writing as well as Cathy.
"Alright, that's it for our meeting. Fawn, continue this meeting because I have to go, I'll have to run an errand. Please plan. And Cathy, report of MOTM next meeting, alright? See soon, everyone! Take care when you all go home," Ms. Valdez said while getting her things.
We smiled and nodded at her before she finally left the room. I then stood up in front of my members.
"Alright, we all know that this event is huge and fortunately, we've done a great job in the past years so we need collaborative effort to slay the event this year. Are you all with me?" I asked while looking, no one in particular.
They nodded and smiled at me so I continued.
"Dorothy and team, start asking the companies tomorrow and give me a written report afterwards. Is that okay?" I asked them and once again, they all nodded.
"Cathy and team, start planning for the theme of the event. From visual plan to the anticipated materials and their prices. Give me a written report, as well. Until Wednesday, alright?" I asked and they nodded as well.
"And lastly, Dom and the rest of the members, communicate with Cathy's team and go straight to me when you've finalized the budget, okay?" I asked them then Dom winked at me.
I chuckled then continued discussing.
We've spent half an hour planning and discussing the things for the upcoming event and when I looked at my wrist watch, I learned that it was already 7:20 in the evening. So when the meeting was finished, I gathered my things, bid farewell with my members, and went straight home.
When I got home, I've seen the girls, lying on the couch while watching TV. They looked at me when they learned that I was already home.
"Hey, why so late?" Chandler asked me while straightening her back.
I walked towards them and gave each one of them a warm hug.
"Had an org meeting," I said, kind of burnt out. "You okay?" Jess asked me with her concerned voice. "Yea, I'm just tired but it's tolerable. I'm gonna change to pjs for a bit and then let's eat pizza!" I said cheerfully and they all laughed.
I then went straight to my room and changed into my pink pjs. I grabbed my phone from my bed before leaving my room. I put my phone down on the sofa before going to the bathroom to wash my face. When I'm done, I went back to the leaving room while drying my face with the clean towel.
I sat beside Jess and really got excited when Chandler opened the box of pizza.
"Yum!" Kayle said while grabbing one slice. "Thanks for the pizza, Kay!" I said with wide smile etched on my face.
She winked at me as a response.
"So where did you go earlier, Chandie?" Jess asked without looking at Chandler because she's oggling her pizza.
"I forgot to get my Science book so I had to go home and get it. I actually looked everywhere but I can't find it," Chandler explained while munching. "What did you do?" I asked, munching as well. "Well, I remembered that I was in your room the other night and I left my book there so I went to your room to get it. Sorry to barge in, by the way," Chandler answered, apologetically. "Oh that's okay." I said then I winked at her.
"And by the way, I've seen three letters in your bedside table so I looked at it and found out that it was from you. So since I had enough time, I've decided to send it," Chandler said, smiling.
My eyes widened and it was like there was a horse race inside my heart. I abruptly stood up and screamed "What?!"
Shocked was evident on their faces and I think I'll die because of nervous.
"WHAT?!" WITH WIDE EYES and a racing heart, I shouted and abruptly stood up."W-why?" Chandler nervously asked. "W-why d-did you sent the letters?!" I whisper-shouted at her. "W-what? W-what's the matter?" She asked, still nervous.I looked at nowhere, still shocked and the only thing I could do was slowly sit back. The girls were out so I was left alone at home. I've decided to write to somehow release some of the emotions that causes my heart to hurt. Sighing, I sat down in front of my study table and started getting a pen and my notebook.I opened the notebook before opening the ballpen. I stared at the blank canvas of my notebook and sighed once again thinking I don't really have something to write.
I WOKE UP EARLY to meet Charlie at the cafe near our school. I told my friends I'll head out first but they were suspicious so I told them I'll be having my early office visit to do the papers. Their suspicion faded then. While walking, I felt like my heart was about to jump out from my chest. My palms were sweating like I would be in front of my last meal before dying. I can't calm the shivers of my whole body and my knees would melt down anytime.Once I arrived, I opened the door with trembling hands. And as I approached towards him, my tears were begging to flow. I suddenly felt longing for him. He was handsomely sitting beside the window and when I finally arrived in front of him, he smiled at me causing my systems to tremble."Hey," he said, walking towards me. Would he kiss me? O
I TOOK A DEEP breath before entering the café where I'll meet Charlie. I got with me his things that I will be returning today. Last night, I mentally and emotionally prepared myself for this day because I know, this will be the last time I'll see his face this close and that this will confirm that we're totally over."Hi," he greeted as soon as I reached where he was. "Is that my things?" He looked at the box I was holding. "Yea," I answered, faking a smile."Have a seat," he then offered. But I stood still."No, thank you. I have to run some errands so I can't stay longer. Here," I said, placing the box on the table. "Oh, okay then. Thank you for..for this..and for..everything," he said, kind of shy and hesitant.
MY CLASSES FOR TODAY went by so fast and I am now at our office to process the papers and other necessities for the upcoming Job Fair. Ms. Valdez is here as well to assist me and the other members in processing and preparing for the said event."How's the papers, Fawn? Are they already signed?" Ms. Valdez asked without looking at me, busying herself with something on her laptop. "They're already in the President's office, miss. I was told that I'll probably get the papers by tomorrow," I answered, smiling even if she's not looking at me. "That's good, we can finish processing early, then," she added, finally looking at me. I just smiled at her as a response.I then continued browsing through some other papers, feeling relieved that the only paper we're waiting for is the document that needs to be signed by the school president. Dorothy also handed me the written report from our last meeting and I found out that there was just a small progress about the task they were assigned to but
"ANDREI IS ONE OF the recipients!" I screamed in horror, still can't believe that I wrote Charlie's best friend a love letter."You're fucked up, dude," Kayle said, still shocked as well. "What do I do, guys?" I almost cry, "well fuck this, we're facing that dude," Jessica answered, kind of nervous as well. "This can't be happening, this can't be happening," I repetitively said while walking back and forth. I am well aware that anytime soon, this news would blow up, Charlie will find this out and I don't know how to face him if that thing happens."I am so sorry, Fawn. This is my fault, I am really really sorry," Chandler apologizes so I stopped walking to face her, "it's fine, I'm not mad. It's just that, I am scared of what other people may say, especially Charlie. What the fuck did I do, what's gotten in me that I wrote love letters? I am so fucked up," I said, very frustrated. They walked towards me and slowly pats my back for comfort."I'm sure, Andrei will look for me. What wou
I FLINCHED WHEN I opened my eyes as the sun rays crept through my sight and I felt a tingling pain in my head. Did I hit my head on a rock or on something hard? Ugh. "Are you feeling alright?" I heard someone asked.I turned my head to my right side and was taken aback when I saw Andrei, sitting on my bedside chair, waiting for me to rise from the dead. That was a little too much of a metaphor, though. "Y-yeah, I feel good. W-what are you doing here?" I stuttered. I swear to God, I am so terrified at the moment. "I just want to know if you're okay and uh..I want to talk to you about the letter I received," he explained. Do I need to explain it right now? Like as in at this very moment?"Well look, that was a mistake and--," I attempted to explain but he cut me off, "mistake? the address was very specific, it was obviously intended for me to receive," he countered. "I didn't write any name, though," I tried opposing. "Still, I received the letter," he kept up.So what's his point? I
I SWUNG BY THE office before going to my classes as Miss V have messaged me early in the morning, asking me to come see her. On my way there, I saw Andrei with a girl, a petite and a brunette one. They were kind of clingy to each other, especially the girl and I guess Andrei was accompanying her to her classroom. Good for them, I mentally said and shrugged.I continued walking until I reached the office and I saw Miss V, going through some papers on her desk. I slowly walked towards her and announced my arrival by greeting her a good morning."Thanks for coming, Fawn. I just want to know if there are any updates about the upcoming event, I won't be able to attend our meeting again later because I have something to take care of for a family affair this coming weekend. This is kind of important so I want to apologize as well for not being present," she explained while I was sitting in front of her."It's fine, Miss V. I hope your personal endeavor goes well. And for the update, the sch
AFTER MY CLASSES, I WENT straight to the office to work on the remaining papers and fortunately, we were able to complete and finish it all. We were handed the money we've requested for the upcoming event and so, we've decided to buy the materials tomorrow. But since I won't be able to accompany my members, I just instructed them because I'll go home and will stay in our town until Sunday. Dorothy will then take over and promised that she'll update me from time to time. I craved for a coffee so I went to a nearby cafe to grab some before going home since the girls weren't home yet because of org commitments. Kayle and Jessica attended their weekly org meetings while Chandler has to attend her daily training. And since I finished my org work early and knowing I'll be home alone for a while, I've decided to satisfy my cravings first.I keyed my mom before entering the cafe and luckily, there was no line. "Good evening, ma'am, what can I get you?" The attending staff smiled at me from
AFTER MY CLASSES FOR THE DAY, I dashed home to prepare for my meet up with Gab later. I'm still worried about seeing him here since there's a chance someone will see us – possibly Noah, Mr. Ignacio, Andrei, or even Charlie. But why am I distressed by the thought when I have nothing to say to them? It's because if it happens, I'm not sure what to say or how to deal with them. I sighed and shrugged my shoulders instead. I then went into my closet, feeling a mix of excitement and indecisiveness. I wanted to find the perfect outfit for my date night with Gab, something that struck a balance between being stylish and casual. After rummaging through my closet, I finally settled on a pair of black high-waisted flare pants and a crisp white top. I looked through the mirror and kind of amazed by myself. The black pants had a flattering silhouette that accentuated my curves, and the high-waisted design added a touch of sophistication. I loved how they elongated my legs and gave me an air of
I GOT A BAD headache the next day I woke up and the first thing I wanted to have was water, so as soon as I got up, I went straight to the kitchen and chugged a whole glass of water. Suddenly, I remembered what happened last night, making my blood boil upon reminiscing how Andrei made his way up to me and chose to piss me off. I leaned my both arms into the kitchen island and heaved a deep sigh. Andrei is such a piece of work just like his best friend. I rolled my eyes and once again sighed."Good morning, sunshine," Kayle spoke behind me that made me jumped out of shock. "Woah, you okay?" She laughed. "Yeah, yeah. You just surprised me, a little," I chuckled. "Looks like you were problematizing, huh, what's up?" She curiously asked, walking closer to me. "Well, Andrei happened to be there last night and came up to me and dragged me into a corner and kissed me," I sighed and gritted my teeth out of anger. She then gasped. "What?! That was bold of him!" She screamed, still cannot belie
I FELL ASLEEP ON the sofa and was awakened by Kayle who was already home along with Chandler and Jessica. I've told them what happened and as the best girls in the world would do, they comforted me and assured me that whatever happens, they're on my side. Chandler tried lifting up the mood by telling that what happened gives us more a reason to why we should drink tonight. Kayle on the other hand, apologized for not coming tonight since she has to attend a family affair and promised to make it all up to me. I was relieved to let my friends know what happened and that they were there for me. Later on, Jessica and Chandler started getting ready so I did the same thing and wore the outfit I prepared earlier. Jessica looks elegantly stunning wearing a semi-silk black dress partnered with an ankle-sized black boots while Chandler looks like a rich chic wearing denim jeans paired with a black top with see-through puff sleeve, complementing it with black heels. "You guys look stunning, I'm
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?" I asked, turning around and glaring at him. "Charlie knows," he repeated. "Why did you tell him?" I shrieked. I don't know what to feel, my emotions were mixed but anger was on top of it all. "Why wouldn't I? We've gone this far," he argued, making my ears turn red. "What are you talking about, Andrei? We've gone this far? No, we didn't because we're ending it now," I angrily said while gritting my teeth. "No, you started this, you wrote me a letter," he insisted. "Haven't I told you it was just a mistake?" I firmly asked him. "I fell for you," he rebutted. I chuckled out of disbelief. "Your feelings aren't my responsibility, Andrei, that's on you," I counteracted. I turned my back away from him but once again, he held my wrist and turned me to face him. "I'm not letting you go, not this time," he whispered before letting me go.He looked at me for the last time before leaving the hell out of me in the middle of the hallway. I groaned, almost a scream, and stomped
I DROPPED BY THE office to get the certificate of participation from last time's event and had a little catch up with Miss V. Afterwards, I went straight to my first class in the morning and the first person I saw was Gabby who rolled her eyes heavenwards upon seeing me. I just ignored her and proceeded to walk towards my seat. After a little while, Laura walked in looking like she just came back from the dead. "Geez, happy reincarnation," I greeted her while she was taking the seat beside me. "Fucking tequila," she groans so I laughed at her. "Who told you drinking on a weekday night will give you flowers and rainbows the next day?" I teased causing her to roll her eyes heavenwards. "I guess, me," she sarcastically said that caused me to laugh harder. "Do you have hangover meds like aspirin?" I asked, still laughing and she shook her head to respond. "Do you want to hit the drugstore? I'll come with you," I sincerely said and she looked at me with puppy eyes. "Would you?" she asked
TODAY WENT BY SWIFTLY and I am now sitting in front of Noah, under the stars with the warm and relaxing air. Noah booked an outdoor dinner from a well-known restaurant in the city which I've never imagined having such a romantically sophisticated dinner date with anyone. And this guy right in front of me looks very handsome in his semi-casual outfit. Later on, someone approached us and handed me a bouquet of flowers. Shocked, I accepted it and thanked the restaurant staff."Wow, this is...this is beautiful, thank you," I stuttered. "You're welcome, I hope you like it," he smiled. I was mesmerized by his face so it took me a little while to respond. "I do, I do, but you don't have to," I shyly smiled. "Why wouldn't I if it's for a lovely girl like you?" he smiled and this time, it was so wide, showing off his white perfect teeth. "Well, thank you again," I said and looked away.I was so shy and was so nervous at the same time but I composed and reminded myself to act normal and just be
I THOUGHT, COMING TO Meade Creamery would erase all my worries but the moment we got there, it felt more bothering and frustrating not because the store don't have the power to uplift me but because Charlie was there with a girl along with Andrei and the brunette girl from the last time. Kayle guessed it was a double date and Chandler wanted to confront Charlie and punch him right in the face for dating a new girl even if we're just broken up but I stopped her and reminded her that I basically did the same thing with Gab. We just ignored them and proceeded to the counter instead to order. Chandler ordered a chocolate flavor which was oddly delicious even if it's a little bit bitter, Kayle ordered for a strawberry ice cream which according to her is as sweet as her, Jessica ordered a peanut-flavored ice cream because she's fond of eating anything with peanut, and I ordered a very special version of vanilla ice cream. I know it's plain and so cliche for an ice cream flavor and it will n
THIS MORNING FELT VERY different from the mornings I had for the past days because I started the day with a very low energy, feeling drained from yesterday's happenings. I am currently walking to school with my friends while groaning about life and complaining about something that I should take accountability of. My friends were tapping my shoulders for comfort but just like me, their energies are also at its lowest."Wanna drink tonight?" Kayle asked, sternly looking on the way. "Ugh, alcohol cannot heal us," Jessica disagreed in an authoritative way and I agreed. "How about ice cream?" Chandler stood in front of us and her energy suddenly rose up, influencing us to feel giddy at the thought of ice cream as well. "It's been a long time since we had Meade Creamery, I miss the store!" I shrieked and hopped out of excitement. "Meade Creamery, then!" Jessica agreed and we were about to go when we realized we still have classes to attend to. "Let's ditch," Chandler suggested and we all gl
AFTER THE JOB FAIR, Miss V invited us to a dinner treat for acing the event. We're glad that most of the applicants have landed to a good job while some of them were either at the waiting list or decided to wait for a better job opportunity. The guests have thanked us as well for allowing them to use our platform to seek for employees and for us, the Peer Facilitators, are beyond thankful for this event as we were able to participate to an extraordinary event. We cleaned everything before leaving the hall and went straight to a family diner near the school. Miss V told us to order anything we like and so we did. We then waited for almost 20 minutes before our orders were served. The whole dinner engagement was filled with congratulatory laughs and "looking forward to work with you all in our next event" things. Miss V also reminded us to get our certificate of participation after 3 days and we all promised to swing by the office by that time. When dinner's over, we bid good bye to one
