The One

"No!" She cries again, but her voice gets smothered by something. Now that I'm getting closer, I know it's definitely a young woman, or even probably a kid. And a man is attacking her.

I don't think too much about it, I just go.

I let my wolf come out in the middle of my run and keep going until I find them a couple of minutes later in a lonely, dark alley.

There's a man on top of a little girl, both of them are naked. I've never had to deal with something like this before, but that doesn't stop me from growling and jumping at the man to make sure he stops.

He screams when I bite his head but in just a couple of seconds he shifts to his wolf form too and the girl cries in horror when we both fall on top of her, fighting.

This guy's wolf isn't nearly as strong or big as mine, so I manage to subdue him almost immediately. He knows I could kill him like this, so he shifts back.

"Don't kill me, I'm sorry!" He cries like a bitch. I almost want to, "Please, don't!"
