Donald was vindicated

Mrs Linda went to station where Donald was held to see her. Donald was brought to the counter to talk with her mother

"Donald, my heart is broken," Mrs Linda said.

"Mum, I know but I know that justice will speak for me. I didn't commit the offence which I was accused of," Donald said with tears in his eyes.

"I told you to stay away from that boy that compete with you in the quiz competition. He is obviously evil," Mrs Linda said.

"I have been trying to avoid him, I never have anything to do with him. He has just been accusing me of what I never do," Donald said.

"What!? Has he falsely accused you of something before this?" Mrs Linda probed.

Donald became quiet. He took his eyes away from his mother to avoid eye contact.

"Donald talk to me. What are you hiding?" Mrs Linda persisted.

"He accused me of stealing his wallet some days back," Donald said.

"Really? How?" Mrs Linda asked anxiously.

"I found his wallet in my bag when I returned from break," Donald said.
