Chapter 1220 Perhaps You're Right

While sitting in the car, Jenny looked out the window. Lynette's "thank you" reverberated in her mind. For some reason, there seemed to be a boulder pressing on her heart, making it hard for her to breathe.

Alec was driving, but he could sense the gloomy air around Jenny.

"Jenny, are you thinking about Lynette?" he asked.

"Yeah, I'm thinking that she wasn't really in the wrong back then. She hasn't exactly led a good life for the past few years, and she's suffered even more than me. But I still won't acknowledge her as my mother. Do you think I'm being unreasonable?"

She'd been pondering this question since they left Walter Castle, but she still hadn't come up with an answer.

Alec slowed down the car and said, "You don't need to put so much pressure on yourself. I believe that Lynette can understand your inner conflict. It's okay if you can't address her as your mom out loud right now. You'll have more time to spend together, and I believe that as long as Lynette treats you well
