Chapter 108

"Who's there?" He roared at the direction of the approaching footsteps.

Derrick and the others followed his gaze into the darkness. To their shock, a tall, well built man with eyes that glowed out in the darkness like burning coals led four other men as they came into vison at a languid pace.

Christopher, Mr. Richard and his son cowered in equal parts of fear and relief at the arrival of Nathan. "N.. Nathan..." They all stuttered.

Nathan was initially furious with Christopher the most. However, upon learning that Chris had refused to betray him yet again earlier, he found his anger giving way to disappointment at the sight of him staring at him with a gaze of regret.

Nathan stepped forth and scanned around before his gaze fell on Derrick.

"So, it was you who have been pulling the strings in the dark?" He asked calmly.

Derrick did not expect Nathan to arrive at Eagles Land and for him for that matter.

As shocked as he was, Derrick quickly regained his composure.
