7 Let's Make a Deal

KK sat next to Leo in the back of the car, watching him carefully. KK had been in this position with a broken hand but he barely remembered the pain, it happened so long ago. His eyes scanned over the man next to him.

Everything about him exuded power, demanding respect without even trying. He had been hired to help find the people plotting against him, but KK guessed there may be more happening that he hadn't been told yet.

Leo took deep breathes trying to control the pain. He perdicted he had broken the top of his hand and a few fingers. He was so angry about the project. A multi billion dollar investment had been stolen under his nose and would be a part of trying to take him down. He wasn't sure how it would happen but he would be damned if he let them get away with it.

Leo closed his eyes, the pain causing him to feel dizzy and nauseous. He wavered, beginning to loose consciousness. KK saw the instant change and caught him as he fell sideways in the car.

"He has passed out."

Carter looked up in the rear view mirror, concerned. He pushed his foot down on the gas, the car speeding up, swerving through the moderate traffic.

Many people would not be able to resist the pain but KK wasn't surprised Leo had lasted so long. KK held Leo, carefully cradling his arm so it didn't get jarred. He could feel Leo's pulse under his palm, the beating slow and rhythmic.

KK tried resisting the urge to look closely at Leo's face. He knew the man was extremely handsome but he was shocked at just how beautiful a man could be. He thought about the color of Leo's eyes under the long-lashed closed eyelids.

He took a deep, stuttering breath and looked away, the scent of Leo's cologne invading his senses, making his heart beat just a little faster. He smelled good, like POLO and leather. He was confused by these sensations, thinking to himself, "It's just because he's handsome; I'm not gay."

His subconcious wanted to argue that fact but Carter pulled into the ER entrance. Carter ran inside, grabbing a wheelchair then helped KK get Leo in the seat. They wheeled the still unconsious man inside.

Mage sat staring at her face in the mirror. Her father had smacked her so hard, she had a slightly black eye and her cheek was a swollen. Her father was doing this for her, she thought that anyway, but she was a bit depressed that Leo wasn't included in the deal. Money would suffice for the most part but recently she had began to see Leo in a different light. She thought maybe she was falling in lovewith him.

Leo lay in the VIP suite. His hand required surgery but had to wait till morning. Carter was out in the hall rearranging his schedule.

KK sat beside Leo. He felt so bad for him, the normally strong man before him, suddenly seemed so small and delicate.

Leo turned his head, looking at KK. He had been given pain medicine so he was slightly loopy at the moment. He smirked watching KK straighten the strings on his hoodie.

The younger man was cute. Because of the drugs, Leo couldn't hold in his thoughts. "You look beautiful. Is your hair soft? It looks soft."

KK smiled, nodding, knowing Leo was high. "Yes, it's very soft. I take good care of myself."

Leo nodded, his head bobbing. "Hmm, you do. I like the way you smell. It's a sexy scent, can I sniff you?"

KK tilted his head at Leo. "You are injured and high. Are you sure you need to sniff my hair right now?"

Leo pouted, nodding his head, the reaction adorable but sexy at the same time. "Yes, now. I need to smell you."

KK chuckled, obliging by standing and leaning down to Leo's face. Leo lifted his good hand,  placing it on KK's neck. His thumb massaged gently as he closed his eyes and took a deep breathe in.

He moaned, inhaling the clean scent of KK's hair. The low moan, made KK close his eyesin response, his subconcious brain laughing at the reaction, "Why did he enjoy that sound so much. Are you sure you're not..."

Leo rubbed his nose in KK's hair, then using his hand, pulled KK closer. KK had to lay his hand on Leo's chest to keep from falling on top of him.

Another moan escaped Leo's lips. He lifted KK's chin and looked over his face, a few inches from his own.

"So sexy." Leo lifted his head off the pillow and kissed KK's lips.

KK sucked in a breath. He pulled back quickly staring at Leo who had instantly fallen asleep from the drugs. As Leo's hand fell from KK's neck landing on the bed, a soft snore escaped his still puckered lips.

KK moved away from the bed, his fingers sliding across the now sensative skin of his lips, "What the hell just happened?"

KK assumed it was all the effect of the drugs and Leo didn't know what he was doing. He probably wouldn't even remember when he woke up. But there was something that didn't sit right with KK. He enjoyed the feel of the warm lips a bit too much. He sighed, shook his head to clear the memory and turned to the window.

Carter entered the room after completing his work and KK bid his farewell. "I will come in a few days to check on him and discuss with you what is happening in the investigation."

Carter nodded and sat down on the couch. He glanced at Leo then waved as KK walked out the door, his fingers absently touching his lips.
