Chapter 29-Woodland lake

They were almost a day's travel past the wasteland hills before Dave relaxed. He made their traveling days shorter and went easier on the wild mares. Dave tames the two animals according to their need and in no time they were galloping it. Unlike natural herds, these mares were every color, shape, and size. The only thing each had in common was the halter it wore on its head for easy catching.
