It's been longer than I'd hoped, but it's finally here!
I've added to the original plan for "Mylo" which now includes not just Mylo's story, but several of his siblings! If you're interested in reading "Mated to Brianna," please read that first as it contains a bit more back story to the early years of the Krul children. This book will mention and contain appearances near the end from some of their characters as well. Although "Timber Alpha" and "Mylo" can be read separately from "Mated to Brianna" and "Alpha Heirs," they do come from the same timeline and cross into each other :)
The reading order is as follows; Timber Alpha, Mated to Brianna, Mylo (Added to length of Timber Alpha), Alpha Heirs (coming in fall)
Find my group on F******k for updates, general discussions, and reading orders. I'd love to see who you all picture for the characters, hear who you love, who you hate, and who you love to hate! I'm always interested in feedback so I can help my books continue to be what you truly love to read. "GoodNovel - Marie Night - Readers"
The Krul children will age slightly throughout the book, but here's where we're starting; Mylo (20), Marie (19), Mato (18), Marek & Mazin (17), Matteo (15), Miah (14), Malcolm & Mayson (13)
MYLO Stalking through the darkness with not much scent to go on, Kai was on high alert when the best tracker I had drew our attention. ‘Eyes on three,’ my Gamma was mind-linking our group. ‘We need one kept alive,’ I quickly shot back through the link as Kai pushed us harder through the forest towards his scent. Within moments I could see one of our targets scattered on the ground in pieces, one was begging for his life within a circle of my guards, and two of my men were holding the last one. Their wolves jaw’s clasped around one arm each and with one quick movement, Kai was leaping over it and sinking the neck of the target between our teeth, disconnecting it
MYLOIf I could stay and live as Kai, I wouldn’t have to deal with the insufferable siblings my parents insisted on as often. My father all but loved to hate his own siblings, and yet I found myself with eight. Two of which were at each other’s throats as I approached home. As much as I truly did value my siblings, these two would surely be the death of me if any of them were. Their constant fighting started young and hasn’t stopped.“I can go where I want Mato, you’re not in charge of me,” Marie scoffed at him, flipping her hair which meant she was about two sentences away from not dealing with him in human form anymore.“Someone should be," he roared, "maybe if you tried to find your mate the rest of us wouldn’t have to talk you out of the stupid shit you get up to,&rd
MARIEWe arrived at Eclipse without issues, and I’d be sure to tell Mato how much of a drama queen he was about everything when we were back. He acted like as soon as we left pack territory someone was going to ambush us and sell us on the black market. There were only two versions of Mato that I was privy to, the overprotective, suffocating, but angry as hell about it version, or the one where he ignored me completely. I tried to push Mato from my mind, I was out with friends and even though this trip was serving more than one purpose, I wanted to enjoy myself.Even though I didn’t want to take a guard, I was glad that it was Tayo. He was the least annoying of the options and the one that would be easiest to distract so I could go about my life, Ainsley would make sure of that.
MARIE Ragnar didn’t know my secret, but I almost told him a number of times. His tanned skin was beautiful and complimented his golden hair that was so perfectly messy. His magic is more healing in nature, potions being his strong suit, but he wouldn’t have to be magical at all to get my attention. He’s had my heart since the day he sat with me for hours, describing every little part of me that was perfect to him. Such an innocent moment at the age of seven, and yet it impacted me more than I think he realized. I always felt out of place at home. I wasn’t like my mom, but not like my brothers either, and here with him and Izzy, I could just be myself without them expecting anything from me or holding me to some standard I never thought I’d reach. “You know who
MYLOI heard Alderic approaching me from behind, his longer stride and laboured breathing a result of him running full tilt to catch up to me.“You’re late,” I stayed focused on our path and refused to relent from my pace.“You’re gonna pretend like I didn’t hear that blonde slinking out early this morning?” Alderic smirked my way and I nudged him with my shoulders as I ran, throwing him into the treeline before I came to a stop.“And yet I made it here on time,” I watched as he brushed himself off, “your problem is that you don’t make them leave," I cocked my eyebrow, "or are you planning on taking her as your chosen mate?”“Of course not,” Ald
MYLOI grasped Rose’s chin roughly. My voice was calm but I could feel my body bulking as Kai came forwards and asserted our dominance, “You will NEVER interrupt me again unless you’d like to lose that tongue.” Her eyes widened and her arousal was quick to disappear, “Learn how to control yourself or don’t come back to training. I won’t have another interruption.” I dropped her chin, “Report to the guardhouse, Mato will be waiting and you will follow Irida’s instructions for the next five days where you will be cooking and cleaning for the men and women who have already completed this course. Try to learn the level of discipline that’s expected of you while you’re there.” I motioned with my chin for her to leave.‘You need to squash this relationship now Mylo, Titan is already
MARIEWe arrived at Moon Rising a few days later where Aunt Jenna showed us up to a room that we could use to get ready for the Carnival and stay in. Tayo was under strict orders to have eyes on me at all times until Mylo got there, which meant having a front-row seat to the Ainsley and Tayo makeout show.Looking at Ainsley I couldn’t help but feel happy for her, even if looking at her also entailed watching Tayo be down her throat. They did fit perfectly together, like I had missed all the signs growing up and wondering who Tayo would end up with.Tayo was quiet in comparison to Alderic and Mylo, always trying to learn new techniques and incorporate more technology into both the pack and the security business. Where Mylo was stoic, Tayo was emotional and where Alderic was a class clown, Tayo reminded me of the
Mylo’s gaze was focused on me in a way I came to realize was him analyzing me. I hated it when he looked at me like this. Trying to figure out things that I didn't want him to know, that I was masking. We'd been taught as children how to keep our defences up and control our tells, but they were easier to control when you were on alert and in front of people you had to be guarded in front of. Being in front of family was a whole other thing because they knew you intimately. It was dad's ultimate test, if you could hide your reactions from each other, you could hide them from anyone. He was dressed formally for the Alpha meeting and his hazel eyes were intimidating when he was laid back, never mind when he was in full Alpha mode. I could see why the she-wolves in any pack I went to talked about him, he was dangerous
