Waitress

That evening, unable to decide what she should do, Hera decided to go to work again. She is serving customers in Cedric's bar like she usually does. A tight black corset that leaves her midriff and shoulders bare, along with a short black leather skirt is the standard waitress uniform in Cedric's bar. A lot of them try to get handsy with the waitresses. But with Hera, Cedric made sure that no one touches her. It is not because of his kind heart, it's because he doesn't want anyone to touch her when he cannot. 

"Hera, the boss is looking for you" one of the other waitresses informed Hera after she delivered some vodka shots to a group of rowdy teenagers. As Justin is one of them, she felt relieved to escape from his lust-filled gaze for a few minutes. 

On the other hand, Matteo arranged a bodyguard to safeguard Hera in his absence. When Matteo went back to Hera's home that night, he found it empty. 

'I heard that she is not the typical teenager who loves shopping and partying. But who knows ' he thought. He dialed Neil, the man who is now Hera's bodyguard.

"Boss, Miss Wilson is working in the bar. Her shift ends at eleven o clock" he shared, which angered Matteo even more. After meeting Sussane, he was not ready to feel the emotions he once used to have for her. The ugly fact that she moved on and is shamelessly kissing another man left a bitter taste in his mouth. He snapped and almost bit his employee's head off in the office. Now Hera is about to face his wrath. It's not her mistake that she is on guard around a stranger. But his anger masked his logic.

"Damn this girl. She should learn to obey me" he muttered to himself angrily. He left the house and drove towards Cedric's bar. 

In the bar, Cedric is waiting for Hera. He got a call from his uncle, who yelled at him for troubling his neighbor. Uncle Freddy warned him to stay away from the person if he wants to live. 

First Cedric was confused. But soon he realized that he is talking about Hera. He began to fume with anger.

'That bitch has the guts to complain to my uncle? Now let's see who will save her from me ' he thought angrily.

Just then Hera knocked on the door and walked inside, completely unaware of the danger she is walking into.

"You called for me?" she asked stiffly. She made sure to stand closer to the door and far away from him.

Cedric glared at her. 

"You work for me to pay your bills. But still, you went and complained to my uncle against me? If you think my uncle will save you from me, then you are mistaken" he snapped and angrily stormed towards her. 

Hera walked backward with confusion and turned to open the door to escape. She is not understanding what he is speaking. But she realized from his aggressive body language that his intentions are not good.

But he reached her faster than she could escape and pulled her back and away from the door by her hair. 

"Let me go" she struggled to break free from his hold, but he only pulled harder. 

"Stop, help" she cried out, but he ignored her. He bends her face first over his desk and began to unbuckle his belt. 

When Hera realized what he is about to do, she doubled her efforts to break free. Tears blurred her vision. But at the same time, the door banged open from the outside, which startled Cedric, who glared at the intruder.

Hera looked at her guardian's face as relief washed over her. 

"Get out," Cedric said angrily.

Matteo looked at the scene in front of him. Cedric has Hera bent over his table while he is working on his pant to rape her. Her eyes are moist, indicating that she is crying. 

The scene in front of him was replaced with the scene he saw back in the restaurant. He saw Frederick in his nephew's place. He saw Sussane smiling face instead of Hera's. The green monster roared in his head and he saw red. He stormed towards Cedric and pulled him away from her. He began to punch and kick him mercilessly. 

Neil is standing near the door, but he is too scared to stop his boss. But Hera is horrified to see the scene playing in front of him. She saw that now Cedric is no longer moving, even though he is still breathing.

"Let him go" she tried to pull an angry Matteo away in vain. She is scared that if her guardian kills Cedric, then he will be jailed. Unable to do anything, she squeezed herself in between the two men and tightly hugged Matteo. Immediately he froze, and his fist stopped midair. He is thinking that it's Sussane who is hugging him.

When Hera realized that he stopped, she pulled him out of there and out of the bar using the back door. They ran together, and he let her pull him away from there. After running for a while, Matteo slowed down until he stopped completely. He hunched down, trying to slow down his heart rate. He can run and do all kinds of physical activity, but his heart is racing for entirely different reasons. A good run cleared his mind. He stood up to his full height and looked at Hera with a blank face. Now clarity returned back and he cursed himself.

'She never had feelings for me. She almost killed me. Then why the hell am I still affected by her?' he thought to himself with annoyance. His gaze landed on Hera, who is looking at him with a frown.

Her dress covers only a little while leaving the rest open. He removed his red t shirt and threw at her head.

"Wear that" he muttered.

Hera looked at him with surprise. Almost every male in the vicinity loves to ogle her body when she is dressed like this. But he is the first person who is offering his shirt to cover her body. She grinned at him and quickly pulled his t-shirt over her head. It is warm and his masculine scent filled her nostrils. 

"What is your name?" she asked curiously.

Matteo ignored her and turned to walk back toward her house, which is close by. He fired a text to Neil to bring his car back.

Hera smiled with amusement when he ignored her. Bring ignored like this feels so refreshing rather than being salivated over.
