Chloe never had Alcohol in her life. She is not about to start it now.
"You know I don't drink alcohol right?" She asked Mia.
Mia knows that her best friend never drinks alcohol. She always wants to stay alert and protect herself if the need arises.
But she doesn't have to worry about that now. No one would touch them as long as her brother is here. So Mia didn't find anything wrong in offering Chloe the drink.
Moreover, Mia believes that Chloe has to live a little and enjoy her life.
"Ya, I know. It's fruit punch. It smells like it might have alcohol, but it doesn't" Mia lied to Chloe.
Chloe believed her best friend, who doesn't have any reason to lie to her.
"Oh, alright" Chloe nodded her head and took a tentative sip from the glass.
