Stolen Art

Eileen drew the last line over the painting. She took a step back as she smiled to herself.

“It's finally done,” She said in pleasure wiping the sweat off her brows. Her hands were covered in paint and she had worn an apron over her dress to prevent it from getting stained too.

“This way, I'd win the contest,” Eileen thought to herself.

“Wow. Did you paint that? You're really good,” A fresher who was passing by stopped, staring at Eileen's painting.

“Do you think so? It's really nothing,” Eileen said, smiling coyly.

She stared at ‘her painting’ with pride, her heart brimming with joy.

Everyone who passed by complimented her painting, but what they didn't know was that Eileen had printed the work of an artist online. She had merely painted over the printed work to prevent people from noticing that it was printed.

She was careful not to spoil the painting, and it seemed that her plan had worked.
