Julian returned to his home after leaving Ethan at his private resort, his head pounding from the endless meetings and the confrontation with Ethan at the resort. All he wanted was some peace, but the sharp sound of Selena’s voice cut through the silence like a knife.

“I said no! For the last time, stop calling me about this documentary! If you don’t leave me alone, I’ll report you!”

Her tone was sharp and aggressive, but Julian could hear the tension underlying it. He frowned, his footsteps quickening as he headed toward her room.

Selena stood by the window, her shoulders stiff and her phone clenched tightly in her hand. She tossed it onto the bed with an exasperated sigh.

“What’s going on?” Julian asked, leaning against the doorframe.

She turned to face him, startled. “Why are you here? Shouldn’t you be at work?”

He crossed his arms. “I asked first.”

“It’s nothing,” she said softly, brushing past him to grab a glass of water. “Just some annoying calls. I’ve dealt with it.”

“You have officially lost your mind,” Selena said, her voice sharp. “What exactly do you think you’re accomplishing by locking me in here?” He stopped pacing and turned to her, his expression unreadable but his tone laced with steel. “I’m accomplishing something you clearly need—a lesson in accountability.” She rolled her eyes, exhaling sharply. “Oh, please. You act like I’m some rebellious teenager sneaking out after curfew. Newsflash, Julian: I’m an adult. I don’t owe you an explanation for every little thing I do.” “You’re right,” he said, his voice low and dangerous. “You don’t owe me every explanation. But you sure as hell owe me honesty when something affects your safety.” Her eyes narrowed. “What are you even talking about? I didn’t do anything!” “Oh, really?” He stepped closer, his towering presence forcing her to look up at him. “So did you tell me about the accident that happened yesterday? And the phone calls? • Tied To The Heartless Billionaire   Shivering like a wet cat

Selena clenched her fists, her jaw tightening as she swallowed the insults bubbling on her tongue. 'What is wrong with him?' She turned her attention to the room, her gaze darting over the rows of leather-bound books, the sleek wooden furniture, and the perfectly organized desk. Everything about the space screamed dark and gloomy, just like its owner. She groaned loudly, hoping to irritate him, but Julian didn’t even glance her way. 'What’s the point of having such a handsome face if he’s such an asshole?' she thought bitterly, her gaze involuntarily lingering on him. She hated that she couldn’t ignore his looks. His sharp jawline, the way his dark hair fell slightly over his forehead, the intensity in his eyes as he read—it was all infuriatingly perfect. But then, she reminded herself, his good looks were wasted on his devilish personality. 'How can someone who looks like that be so unreasonable?' she wondered, glaring at him. 'Does he think locking me up is going to make me

  • Tied To The Heartless Billionaire   Can I meet your husband?

Selena sat at the dining table, absently picking at her dinner. The quiet clinking of her fork against the plate was the only sound in the large dining room. Her mind kept drifting back to Julian’s unexpected act of kindness. Why had he put his jacket over her? Why did he care that she was cold? Wasn’t he the same man who spent most of his time making her life miserable with his arrogance and unreasonable demands? Her brow furrowed as she chewed a bite of food. 'He’s so strange. One moment he’s glaring at me like I’ve offended his ancestors, and the next he’s being…considerate?' She thought about the way he’d looked at her earlier when she asked about the jacket. There was something in his eyes—something she couldn’t quite name. It wasn’t the usual irritation or condescension. It was softer, almost human. But then, just like always, he’d ruined the moment with his sharp tongue, calling her a wet cat. Selena let out a frustrated sigh and stabbed at a piece of chicken. 'He’s u

The breakfast table was laden with the usual luxurious spread: freshly baked croissants, colorful fruit platters, steaming coffee, and a variety of gourmet dishes that only a household like Julian’s could produce. Selena sat quietly, nibbling on a piece of toast, still half-asleep but grateful for the calm. Julian was reading his tablet, his sharp eyes darting over the stock updates. Grandma, however, had other plans. “Selena,” she began, her tone sweet but mischievous, “how are you feeling this morning?” Selena looked up, surprised at the sudden attention. “Uh… fine, Grandma. Why?” “Good, good.” Grandma took a sip of her tea, her eyes twinkling. “And? Any news?” Selena blinked, confused. “News?” Julian glanced up from his tablet, his brow furrowing. “What news?” Grandma leaned forward, her voice dropping conspiratorially. “About the baby, of course!” Selena’s eyes widened in horror, and the toast she’d just bitten into caught in her throat. The rehearsal room was alive with activity. Assistants moved props around, and the director barked occasional instructions to the staff. Selena sat quietly in the corner, observing Cassandra as she rehearsed a particularly emotional scene. Cassandra’s voice carried through the room, full of intensity and conviction, as she delivered her lines flawlessly. Selena’s heart ached as she watched. The energy of the set, the feel of the script in her hands, and the thrill of becoming a character—it all felt like a lifetime ago. The sharp pang of longing caught her off guard, and she quickly looked away, pretending to be engrossed in her phone. Cassandra, ever perceptive despite her aloof demeanor, glanced at Selena during a break. She noticed the distant look in her eyes and the way Selena hugged her arms tightly around herself. “You miss it, don’t you?” Cassandra asked nonchalantly as she sipped from her water bottle. Selena blinked, startled by the question. “What?” “Acting,” Cass

Julian sat behind his large mahogany desk, sipping his morning coffee and scanning the day's schedule. "And then you have a lunch meeting with a potential investor at 12:30 pm."Julian nodded, making a mental note of the meetings. "Anything else?"Clara hesitated before speaking. "Actually, there is something. You have some visitors waiting to see you."Julian raised an eyebrow. "Visitors? Who?"Clara checked her notes again. "They're from a media company. They didn't specify what they wanted to talk to you about, but they said it was important."Julian's curiosity was piqued. "Send them in."Clara nodded and stepped out of the office. A moment later, she returned with two women and a man in tow."Mr. Julian, this is Ms. Thompson, Ms. Lee, and Mr. Patel from City Lights Media," Clara introduced.Julian stood u

  • Tied To The Heartless Billionaire   The actress she used to be

Julian’s car pulled into the driveway of the mansion, the soft hum of the engine cutting through the evening quiet. As the driver opened the door for him, he stepped out, loosening his tie. Selena followed behind, her heels clicking softly against the stone path. “I’m going to my room to freshen up,” she said curtly, not even glancing at him. Her tone was polite but distant, and before he could respond, she disappeared inside the house, heading straight for the stairs. Julian stood there for a moment, watching her retreating figure. *Freshen up?* he thought, narrowing his eyes. It wasn’t unusual for her to keep her distance, but something about the way she said it irked him. Shrugging it off, he entered the house and made his way to the dining hall. Dinner was already being set, the aroma of freshly cooked food wafting through the air. Julian took his seat at the head of the table, the same place he always sat. The long dining table stretched before him, but tonight, it felt esp

Julian pushed the door open, his sharp gaze falling on Selena. She flinched, startled, and instinctively kicked the fallen script under the nearby sofa. “Julian,” she stammered, her voice slightly higher than usual. “What… what are you doing here?” Julian’s brows furrowed. Her tone, the way she stiffened as though caught doing something wrong—it was suspicious. “I could ask you the same thing,” he said, stepping inside and shutting the door behind him. “I wasn’t doing anything,” Selena said quickly, her hands clasped tightly in front of her as if trying to shield herself. Julian’s sharp eyes swept the room. The way she was standing, the slight movement of her foot—it was too obvious. He smirked, his arms crossing over his chest. “Really? You’re that bad at lying?” “I’m not lying!” she insisted, her voice rising a little too much. Julian took a deliberate step toward her, his towering presence making her instinctively take a step back. “Move,” he ordered, his voice calm b

Selena’s hands trembled as she folded the last piece of clothing into her suitcase. The divorce papers lay abandoned on the bed, the inked words blurring in her tear-filled vision. She wiped her eyes with the back of her hand, but the tears kept coming. This was really happening. Julian was releasing her. She had lost him. Not that she ever truly had him in the first place. Dragging her suitcase behind her, she stepped out of the room that had once been theirs. The hallways of Julian’s mansion felt colder, emptier than ever before. Every step away from this place felt like a dagger twisting deeper into her chest. She had thought she had found love. But all she had found was pain. The servants looked away, some whispering amongst themselves. No one stopped her. No one said a word. It was as if she had never belonged here. Julian had made sure of that. Outside, the driver stood waiting. His gaze was somber, but he didn’t question why she was leaving with nothing but

"Did you really think I fell in love with you? That I wanted you for anything other than revenge?" The man she had loved, the man she had foolishly given her heart to, had never once seen her as anything other than a target. A means to an end. Her chest ached, a deep, unbearable pain that wouldn’t go away. She wanted to tell him the truth. She wanted to scream that she wasn’t the one who had killed his parents. But she couldn’t. Because if she did, then Samantha— Her phone suddenly rang, the sharp sound cutting through the suffocating silence. With shaky hands, she reached for it, barely able to see the screen through her tear-filled eyes. Samantha. For a moment, Selena hesitated before answering. Selena sat curled up on the couch, her knees drawn tightly to her chest, as if the physical act of folding herself into a smaller shape could somehow shield her from the storm raging inside her. The morning light filtered through the blinds, casting long, jagged shadows across the room, but Selena barely noticed. Her mind was a whirlwind of fear, doubt, and betrayal, each thought colliding with the next until she felt like she might drown in the chaos. When her phone rang, the sound was like a gunshot in the silence. She flinched, her heart lurching painfully in her chest. The name on the screen—Samantha—sent a fresh wave of dread crashing over her. The phone cracked against the wall, its shattered pieces scattered across the floor like her broken plans. Samantha Frost stood frozen in her penthouse, breathing heavily as she stared at the news article glaring back at her from the TV screen. ''"Julian Mathers, CEO of Grand Entertainment Inc., Publicly Announces His Marriage to Selena Frost."'' Her fingers curled into fists, her nails digging into her palms so hard they nearly drew blood. 'Married?' Julian Mathers—the ruthless, unattainable billionaire. The man every woman in the country wanted. And her perfect, golden sister had gotten him. Samantha let out a bitter, humorless laugh, but there was no amusement in her expression. Her eyes burned with pure rage. '"Again. Again, she takes everything from me."' Selena, the golden child. Grandma had come specifically to visit her today, and Selena couldn't deny how happy that made her. She had always liked Grandma—her presence was soothing, her words wise, and despite the sharpness she sometimes directed at Julian, it was clear she loved him deeply. Selena settled down next to her, offering her a cup. “I’m so glad you came, Grandma. It’s been a while since we last saw you.” Grandma accepted the tea with a gentle nod. “Of course, dear.
