I watched as Rager snarled at the two men who had positioned themselves over our mate, lying there helpless on the floor. When Rager met her eyes, her eyes were filled with fear, which only fueled his anger. I tried to get him to let me take over, but it was no use. Rager was going to do what he did best, tend to those who certainly had it coming. He kept snarling, drooling, savoring the moment as he slowly walked closer to these two, so frightened they did not move.
