Rameric's POV:

I casually walked down the corridor on my way to the Great Hall, and could not help as I kept thinking about her, my mate, all alone in my Chambers. I did wish I could stay in there with her while she rested. However, as Alpha, it was pertinent I attend all pack meals while I am here and not away on other errands. It was a grand thing to be at the head of one's pack, showing pride and protection over everyone who was within your pack.

I was thankful for the delta's and the omega's hunting party who managed to capture the fresh prey in order to feed us at the different roasts we had daily. I was pleased to be placed in such a position, and for as long as I have been. It was a lonely position, but one that I would show pride in no matter who was at my side.

Soon, it was not all that much longer before I finally managed to reach the entrance of the Great Hall. When I did, conversation ceased to a certain extent as they watched me walk
