Luca's POV:
I changed direction after hearing the scream. Instead of going inside the nightclub and minding my own business, I headed to where it came from. I could not help it. Being nosy was something that I was born with.
"Help! Please! Somebody help me."
I heard a trembling male's voice shout when I was closed. Even if I couldn't see him, the vibration in the sound wave already showed how scared the man was. It made me quicken my paces.
I might be a coldhearted man when it came to love, but I was not a heartless person. What I despised the most was to stand by and watch the weak get bullied. I hated this kind of society. This was the reason I earned a black belt in karate, even though I could hire rows of bodyguards that were longer than The Nile River to protect me. I did not take martial arts classes to defend myself. I learned it so I could help protect those that no one stood up for.
As my feet brought me close to where the scream came from, I got myself readied. I rolled up my sleeves and stood at the entrance to the alleyway. Even though it was dark, it was not pitch-black. I could still make out the situation.
Three well-built men were cornering a slender guy who was trembling from head to toe. The poor guy's knees were wobbling like jelly.
Three against one? What the lowest of the low people. I clenched my fists.
"Come on, pretty boy. Don't be selfish. You were born with a beautiful body. Why not learn how to share?" A man in a grey T-shirt tore the smaller guy's shirt open in force, exposing his chest and front down to the waist.
The two others stood on either side of the victim, pinning his hands to the wall to stop him from fighting back. Not that he even had the strength or gut to fight back, I presumed.
"Come on, big brother. Hurry and take him so we can have our share, too. My pants are tighter at the front," said the guy on the right.
"I know. Do you think mine is any better? It almost makes my button pop," the addressed man replied.
I watched as he slid his hand up and down the trembling guy's tummy, ignoring the tearful plea.
"No, sir. Please. Don't do this to me. I've never done this before. I-I am scared," he begs, squeezing his eyes shut as if he was afraid to see what happened next.
"Oh, a virgin. I see. All the better. Don't worry. This brother will guide you well. Let me take you on a trip. A trip to heaven that you will never forget." His hand moved further down until he reached the waistband, where he started unbuttoning the jeans.
And this was where I had to stop those filthy people.
"If your hand goes any further, don't blame me when you run home with a broken arm," I said, folding my hands across my chest and glaring at the three well-built men.
All eyes turned to me, each with a different countenance. The trembling guy looked at me with eyes sparkling, whereas the other seemed to glower at me. The deadly looks made their scary face even more intimidating. No wonder the poor guy was shaking like a fledgling. But it held no effect on me. I stood on my ground and maintained my glare.
"Who the hell are you?" the guy to the furthest part of the alley asked. I had no idea what color his shirt was wearing. The big guy who everyone called big brother was blocking my view. But I got a glimpse of his spiky hair, making me wonder if sea urchins were living on his head.
"Me?" I replied with a chortle. "I'm the one who is about to kick your ass."
The guy in the blue T-shirt arched his eyebrow, looking at me up and down. "Big brother, someone is talking big despite his small body."
The big brother sneered, giving the same eyes his gang did. "Ben, Zack, I think I change my mind. I want to eat this intruder instead. I wonder if his ball is as big as his attitude."
Ben and Zack cooed and let go of the trembling guy's hand. The poor guy rushed to where I was when he was freed.
"T-thank you," he stood by my side and closed his torn T-shirt, hiding his chest from the cold air. Or rather, from the salacious eyes of the evil trio.
"Are you okay? Did they do anything to you?" I asked.
"I-I'm okay. They haven't done anything to me yet," he stuttered.
"Good. Now go."
He turned to me with his eyes widened. "Go? W-what about you?"
I smiled as an assurance. "Don't worry. I can handle this. I am a black belt karate. Dealing with these trashes is a piece of cake."
"A-are you sure?"
"Yes. Go."
He nodded and thanked me again before scurrying away. After the poor guy disappeared, I turned my attention to the trio. "I planned on letting this matter go if you stop bullying the boy. But you insulted me. And that is what I can't simply overlook." I adjusted my sleeves and twirled my wrists to warm up the muscles while I fixed my eyes on them. "Now, who wants to have your ass kicked first?"
"Oh, come on, baby. Don't act tough. Just come to daddy. Daddy doesn't want to hurt your smooth skin. He only wants to lick it," says the big brother.
I rolled my eyes and huffed. "Really? I'm afraid the only thing you can lick is my shoes, daddy."
His expression changed instantly. The lusty eyes turned penetrating as he narrowed his eyes, looking as if he wanted to shoot a deadly laser at me. "Damn you, kid. Don't blame me if you end up bleeding to death tonight. I was trying to be nice, but you pissed me off." He turned to his gangs. "Boys, get him!"
I watched Ben and Zack run towards me in a slapdash. I sighed, waiting until they were within reach before swiveling my body in one smooth rotation. I raised my right leg and kicked their temples. When my leg returned to the ground, those amateurs were already rolling on the floor and groaning in pain. I cocked my head in the big brother's direction. My lips curved up into a smirk as I wiggled my eyebrows. I suppressed the urge to laugh when I saw him balling his hands into fists. His shoulders were trembling, probably from rage.
"What? Scare now? Don't dare to move from your spot?" I provoked him and watched as he charged toward me.
Okay, this leader is not as amateur as his boys. I thought to myself. I can tell by the way he ran. Each step was measured, and he seemed to have a good balance. But it was no big deal. There was nothing I could not handle.
As we engaged in hand-to-hand combat, I had to spend minutes instead of seconds to see an opening. Once I did, I landed a kick on his chest, causing him to stumble backward, though not falling on his butt.
"You're good, kid." He held his chest and narrowed his eyes.
I shrug. "You're just too slow, grandpa." I advanced and prepared to end this fight when I saw an unbelievable sight that stopped me in my tracks.
"Stay there, or I'll kill this kid." The big brother took out his pocket-knife from who-know-when and placed it under a girl's throat.
I cursed inside my head, wondering why a little girl had to appear at the wrong place and time. When we fought, our position got swapped. I was standing inside the alley, whereas the big brother stood at the entrance. When the girl ran past, he grabbed her by the neck in an instant, leaving me with no time to warn her.
Understanding the situation she was in, the girl cried, leaving my heart saddened and broken. I hated people who hurt kids. They were the purest and most innocent creatures that we needed to adore.
"I want my mommy! Mommy!" she cried.
"Shut up! I hate noisy kids!" The big brother held the knife closer to her neck.
"Hold on. Don't hurt the girl. She's just a kid," I said, stepping forward and trying to reason with him.
"No, stay back! Don't move."
"Okay, okay. I won't move." I held up my hands in defeat as I stood still. "Let her go. She is innocent. The fight is between you and me. Don't pull other people in."
"I don't care. As long as I get what I want, whoever dies on the way is none of my concern."
"Then what do you want? What do you need to release the girl?" I asked, feeling my hatred for this guy was accumulating.
The big brother narrowed his eyes at me. "I see you seem to care about the girl. Well, how about you kneel there and let me punch you till I feel better? Then, I promise I'll let this kid go."
I gritted my teeth. There was no way I would bow before this filthy human being. But the girl's safety was the priority. I would think of something else later, as long as he set her free.
"Okay, fine. I'll do what you want. But keep your words. You must let the girl go."
"I will," he smirked.
I hated it. I hated to even think about kneeling, let alone allowing him to punch me. Still, I had no choice.
Keeping my eyes on him, I lowered myself to the dirty and wet concrete. But before my kneecaps touched the ground, I saw a change of expression on the big brother's face, followed by the sound of the pocket knife dropping to the floor. Not long after, his built body met the same fate as the sharp object.
<TO BE CONTINUED>
Luca's POV: My brows furrowed, wondering what was going on. Everything happened in a flash, and my brain could not access it. Then I heard something rolling. I looked around and tried to find what that was, only to feel something rigid hit my foot. I craned my neck down to see a short black narrow board with wheels on the bottom rolled to stop next to where I was standing. "Where did this skateboard come from?" I muttered under my breath. "That's for hurting an innocent kid." A guttural voice that belonged to a guy made me look up from the ground. There, standing next to the girl, was someone around my height. An unfamiliar face. A brand new one. Who was he?I asked myself. I had never seen him around, even though I had been here more often than I had been at my house. He wore a navy blue hoodie
William's POV: My client forced me to come to this nightclub. To be honest, it isn't the first time. But my hatred for this loud place remained the same. I still couldn't understand why people came to this noisy place. This time, the man I dealt with was a short, bald, and ugly guy in his forties. He was totally the type that would give people a nightmare, even after meeting just one. I did not know how he managed to find a wife. But I guess it was not difficult since his bank account was overloaded with zeros. "I can't believe I agree to this," I murmured under my breath. The mere thought of me having to sleep with him later absolutely makes me want to puke. But I had no choice. Earning the title,a successful entrepreneur under thirty came with a prize. For someone who was thrown out to live in the street yet c

Instead, I grabbed his hand and dragged him out of the nightclub to the hotel across the street. "Hey, you said you wanted me to return a favor tonight. Why are we coming to a hotel?" He asked when we were inside the elevator. "You'll see soon enough." I did not realize we were still holding hands. Not until the elevator arrived on the tenth floor, and I pulled him out with me. "Woah. Easy. What's the rush?" I ignored him and kept walking until we reached the room. I placed the keycard and waited for a beep sound before pushing him inside. Then I slammed th
WARNING: The chapter contains explicit smut. ******* Luca's POV: I could no longer understand myself. Not at all. I was a playboy, so a one-night stand shouldn't be a big deal to me. I had been doing this for two years. It wasn't like this was my first time. Hold on. Itwas. Tonight just recorded a series of my firsts: 1. I was asked out instead of doing the asking. 2. I was at the bottom. 3. I was having sex with aguy! Could you believe this? Even I found it hard to comprehend these three things. But here I was, sprawling on the bed with my legs spread open like I was patiently waiting to be eaten. Not that I had
Luca's POV: Ring, ring, ring! I pulled a pillow over my head, desperately trying to muffle the relentless ringing of the phone. Seriously, who was calling at this ungodly hour? Didn't they know better than to disturb a non-morning person like me? I tried to ignore it, but the caller was persistently obnoxious, letting the ringtone blare nonstop. "Damn it!" I growled, tossing the pillow aside in frustration. I scrambled out of bed, my movements clumsy and uncoordinated from sleep deprivation. Bad move. "Sh*t," I hissed, collapsing back onto the bed as pain shot through my back. It felt as though I had tried to lift an elephant in my sleep. But the sharp, throbbing pain in my a**was more concerning than my aching back. Why do I feel so sore? I asked myself. As I lay there, trying to piece together the events that led to my current predicament, the fog of sleep began to lift. Gradually, the memories of last night came flooding back, each one more vivid and perplexing than the
Luca's POV:After running several red lights and crazily overtaking more than ten vehicles, enduring honking that made my ears ring, I finally arrived at my brother's company at nine-fifteen a.m. However, I had to say that it was one difficult drive—not because I feared an accident. As an F1 licensed holder, fast driving like this was a piece of cake for me. What bothered me was... well, that was the problem. I didn't know what bothered me. I just felt restless throughout the entire drive. My gut told me something was going to happen. Still, I didn't understand. It was just another contract signing with a new model. This shouldn't be a big deal, right?Once I parked the car at the reserved spot, I walked inside—limping, to be exact—no thanks to the wild activities last night. When the elevator door opened, I saw Tommy standing there, waiting for me. "What are you doing here, Tommy?" I asked, surprised to see my secretary on this floor instead of downstairs, where his desk and my offic
Luca's POV:"So, which one of my brothers-in-law was that?" I asked the moment he hung up. "Dan," said Jose. Right. I should've known when I heard Jose tell him not to frown too much. Let me introduce: Daniel Grayson, my first brother-in-law, who was well known for his perpetual scowl. He wore a frown on his face like a trademark. On the other hand, my second brother-in-law, Matthew Grayson, blinded people with his radiant smile that showed off his dimples. As for my older brother, he was like a gentle breeze that brought peace and cooled all heated arguments everywhere he went. I still had no clue how the three of them survived this marriage, given there was nothing in common with their personalities. "What are you thinking about?" asked Jose. "Nothing," I shrugged. "Dan is in Spain, dealing with the new partnership signing thing, isn't he?""He is. And it seems the signing doesn't go as smoothly as we've thought. The CEO there seems to have second thoughts despite our agreement
Luca’s POV:"Ethan!” I yelled in surprise, ignoring the employees’ eyes directed at me. “You didn't even tell me that you're returning from America. Tommy, one more cup of coffee, please." I told my secretary before stepping inside the office and closing the door behind me. "Oh, sorry about that, bro. I didn't mean to hide it from you or anything. It’s just things happened fast. It wasn't part of the plan," he said. We hugged each other briefly before I guided us to sit down on the grey sofa. "Oh, what is not part of the plan?” I asked. Ethan suddenly turned into a human tomato. He fidgeted with his fingers as he looked at anyone in the room except me. He was acting like a shy teenage girl, which left me totally perplexed. What is wrong with him? I thought to myself. "W-well..." he began hesitantly. His cheeks flushed an even deeper shade of red."Just spit it out, will you?" I rolled my eyes. The curiosity was killing me. After clearing his throat and contorting his face as if

However, what I found nestled as snug as a bug in a rug wasn't the fluffy cushion underneath. Instead, I found the warmth radiating from the side of my body, accompanied by a fragrant scent that hit my nose. Though this scent was new to me, my heart already engraved it deeply into the depth of my memory so that there would never be a day that I would ever forget it. My respiratory system had already registered this as the most aromatic scent in the world. Or to my world, to be precise. It was the scent of my significant other. The one who would always own my heart.Luca Grayson. My lips curved up into a wide smile even before I opened my eyelids.

So, Mr. Boyfriend, why don't you do me the honor? I want your evaluation."His eyes got darker at my words. The piercing gaze made him look so god-damn sexy. I found myself ready for him to wreck me more. I shamelessly wanted him to f*ck me senseless. "I try to be a gentleman, but you keep testing my patience, Luca Grayson," he groaned, looking at me with hooded eyes. I reached out and wrapped my arms around his neck, locking them behind him. "Who says I like the gentle way?" I teased, sticking my tongue out.My eyes widened in surprise when he quickly leaned down to gently bite my extended tongue, sucking it with his lips and licking it with his own tongue. "Delicious," he muttered, pulling away and swirling his tongue all over his lips as if he was tasting me on him. His eyes remained locked with mine. How seductive could thi

Those three words were short, but they weighed more than a paragraph. This one sentence usually took time and courage to say aloud, yet he said it without difficulty. What was the reason? Was he taking these three words too lightly? Or was he so sure of his emotions? Was certainty the reason courage propelled him to speak without fear? I couldn't tell what was on his mind, for I wasn't psychic. However, I hoped it was the latter. I didn't think I could go through another heartbreak. I hoped Mr. Zane knew what he'd just said. Or rather, what he'd just done to my heart. Tears welled up in my eyes, blurring his handsome face and distorting his face from my sight. "Luca? Hey, why are you crying?" he asked, his voice panicked. I tried to say something to reassure him that I was okay as I sensed hi
Oliver's POV: He laughed softly at my exclamation and wiggled his eyebrows twice at me like a boy full of mischief up his sleeves. I rolled my eyes and looked out the window to distract myself from some lewd thoughts since it'd take more time until we reached his house. Unfortunately, Luca didn't allow me to meditate on my lust for control in peace. He, once again, leaned on me and hummed a melody by Beyonce's Crazy in Love, which totally didn't help with the situation at all. I felt like he found amusement in torturing me. My body stiffened as he ran his hand up and down my thigh. I gave him a warning eye, but he refused to stop. “Well, if you don't like it, you can tell me to stop," he shrugged, continuing his hand's work, now slipping to my inner thigh. For some stupid reason, I didn't do it. It was torturing yet pleasurable to have him do that to me. I didn't want him to stop. Thus, the entire car ride was silent except for his repeated humming of the same song whi

However, Luca didn't make it easy for me to maintain it. In the backseat of a cab, he intentionally rubbed his body on me as far as the seat belt would allow—which wasn't that much of a difficulty, considering he was in the middle seat while I was behind the driver's seat. And that wasn't the only thing he did. When I told him to sit properly so he wouldn't get motion sickness, he leaned on me, running his hand up and down my forearm while his head nuzzled the crook of my neck. As if his hair wasn't tickling me enough, he even occasionally blew hot air against my skin. "Mr. Zane, do you think yours is big enough?" he asked, running his tongue along the side of my neck."What?" I widened my eyes at the question, feeling goosebumps crawling up my skin at the wet sensation he'd left behind. Altho

Yet, there was no way I'd decline such an offer. "I already got Ryan canceling my schedule for today," I said. "Can I take this a 'Yes' then?" he asked, his lips curved up into a smile. I shrugged, trying not to show how enthusiastic I was. "I'm free, anyway. I guess it won't hurt to spend my free day accompanying you to your house."I could tell from his eyes that he was satisfied with my answer. "Okay." He nodded and let go of my hand."I'll be back shortly.""Don't worry. I'm not going anywhere. I'll be right here, waiting for you." He winked, showing his mischievous side, which I found cute. Once I filled out the discharge form and paid for his hospital bill, the nurse walked into the room with me to remove the IV drip. I sat on the same chair I'd been sitting
Oliver's POVI thought I imagined things since my attraction to him was overwhelming. However, it wasn't my imagination. It was real: the kiss, the look in his eyes as he gazed at me, and the hand holding mine.I didn't want to admit it, but things that I wanted to do to him when we first met this morning in the meeting room turned into reality. I couldn't believe it happened so soon. Not that I was complaining. In fact, I was overjoyed. During the ambulance ride to the hospital, I sat next to him, holding his calloused yet tender hand in mine, hoping it would bring comfort to both his emotional state and mine. For unknown reasons, I sensed that he needed me. That was why I insisted on coming along. I just couldn't leave him. And I guessed the feeling was mutual. I couldn't help but let my pride gloat if this assumption was correct. I knew Ryan was in hot water right now, having to take care of my absence for the rest of the day. But I'd made it up to him later by getting him the Role
Luca's POV:"I'm really sorry. I'll get off here. You can go down first and wait in the lobby," Ryan rushed out of the elevator, leaving Mr. Zane and me alone. I called out, hoping to stop him from leaving. But it was too late. Now that only the two of us remained, the elevator was awkwardly silent. But despite my body standing still, with only my chest moving as I breathed, many thoughts raced through my mind. Should I talk to him? There were still twenty-eight floors left to go. We couldn't stay silent the whole way, could we? But then again, what should I talk about? I couldn't just bring up the matter from last night all of a sudden. Should I talk about work? Damn, I didn't even know where to begin. I had never paid attention to this project. Gosh. Couldn't this elevator go any faster? To hide my agitation, I focused on the elevator's screen, silently wishing the number to descend faster. I wanted to get to the lobby as soon as possible. Being in such a close space with the man
Oliver's POVIs he suffering from claustrophobia? I thought to myself."Luca?" I called out his name again, but there was no response. He can't be claustrophobic, right? If he were, why would he take the elevator? My brows furrowed in confusion as I looked at him. I moved closer, hoping to get a better view. That was when I noticed how pale his face had become. His once rosy pink lips were turning blue. His long, curvy eyelashes were brimmed with unshed tears. But what had me worried the most was seeing him struggling for breath. His chest was heaving as he kept gasping for air. "Luca, are you okay?" I asked. "I... c-can't....h-ard...t-to...b-breath." He gasped, clawing at his throat. "Don't do it. You'll cut yourself." I dropped the phone, thankful it fell with its screen down so the flashlight could still illuminate the dark space. I hurried to catch him by the wrists tightly, preventing his nails from drawing blood on his neck. The red streaks already visibly stood out on his p
