Dexter's Point Of View.

I was home already and I saw Melanie laying on the couch, what made her not to sleep inside the room?

She really looked so tired.

What could be wrong with her?

I stood up as I walked towards her and I bent down beside her, her hair was covering her eyes already. I shifted it to the back of her hair. My hand mistakenly touched her skin as I felt her temperature, she was so cold.

She shifted her body as she opened her eyes slowly and sat up immediately she saw me.

"You are back. I will go and prepare dinner now." She said as she stood up.

"Don't worry, I just ate before coming and I think Anna is going to eat outside." I told her as she just sighed.

"Okay, I will go to my room now." She said as she climbed the stairs slowly.

She has been sleeping since and she still wants to sleep? That is really unlike her.

I was expecting some news from my private investigator already but he hasn't called yet, I wondered what is taking him so long.
