The sun glares in my eyes as we continue to walk around trying to figure out our way. A giant billboard overlooks the blocks with a celebrity's face on it, a young dude with a recessed chin and a genial smile. Someone spray painted a curly mustache and devil horns on his head. I remembered doing stuff like that too when I was on the street. Well, I'm still on a bit. I'm a grown up now and a little bit more mature now compared to then when I was still much younger. I used to do stuff like this with some bag gangs I used to hang out with, but I was always the one that was always scared out of my wits and kept looking out because I was always scared of the cops. Well, I still am. Gosh I wonder how long the man has looked like that. They dropped her to see who was talking, and soon enough, their gaze fell on me. The thin one's stare w, as intense, probing, and seemed to cut through any pretense or hesitation. His gaze was fixed on me, and he didn't flinch or look away until he started walking towards my direction. His stare was so intimidating and unsettling. I start to feel a tinge of fear inside me. All of a sudden, they both burst into laughter, and their laugh echoed through the alley. Which made me look confused. Why on earth are they laughing?
