Chapter 65

Madison’s POV

The atmosphere was getting quite tense; he brought his lips closer and touched them with mine. I just couldn’t allow myself to do this.

“Tyler, I need to go. It’s getting late. I have a board meeting at my dad’s company tomorrow, so the earlier I leave, the better for me. I saw how hard it was for Tyler to let me go.”

Driving home was a bit hard for me. I had so much in my heart; my heart felt so heavy with burdens in it that it could make me develop a heart attack. I thought of what might happen at the board meeting tomorrow; having to deal with my uncle is a hard one.

When I got to the meeting, I was there for a few seconds, but thank God they were all seated there, and the time was well spent. I just immediately went down to the meeting with the managers.
