Taken Away-I

Her father continued to talk with the people in front of him, looking a bit in a panic upon receiving an answer from them. Her father spoke again until her mother appeared beside her mother, talking and trying to reason with them.

The people didn’t seem to agree with her parents as they rushed inside the inn, pushing her mother aside. Seeing this, her father panic and quickly blocked the inn’s door only for the three men behind him to kick him in the stomach.

Little Rose panicked at once and her tears dribbled from her eyes. She called from the window, “Father! Father!” She hoped her father could gain energy and strength from her words and voice as he said he would. Unfortunately from the strong kick that the man did, her father who couldn’t contain the pain and collapsed on the ground.

Mrs. Maury who then noticed Rose quickly mouthed for her to leave.

Although Rose couldn’t hear her mother she could read her mother’s lips, realizing that she was trying to tell her to run.
