Rose’s Contemplation-II

Rose who had gotten back to Dominic’s room sat down beside the bed. Her fingers trailed on his bigger one that felt icy now. Her eyes slowly closed as she tightened her grips around his fingers. She then rested her head on the bedside, bending her body in a way for her ears to settle on his chest without putting her entire weight on his body so she wouldn’t disturb him.

Her eyes closed at the contemplation running in her mind.

From her conversation with Mona, she found out that the demon always win whenever they had made a contract with the human. They win as, the human would be the one to suffer the most from the contract they made. The demon loses nothing and instead could enjoy the pain and misery the human suffered under them.
