Feelings Uncalled

Rose felt as though she was walking in a daze as she made her way toward her room. The sky was dark and she was grateful that her flushed expression wasn't seen by Dominic.

As she made her way to her room, Rose passed by the few painting hung on the wall. She stared at the one portrait of a golden full moon. There were snowflakes falling from the dark sky behind the moon and while staring at it, Rose couldn't help but feeling that the moon reminded her of Dominic.

The golden glint on his eyes that often appears when emotions swallow him had the same glare hue of the moon portrait.

Rose still had many secrets left unanswered from Dominic. Normally, this should waver her trust for him, but it didn't.

She couldn't explain it with words. The amount of trust she subconsciously gave to Dominic was immense that she was surprised to it by herself.

Was it because Dominic had saved her? From those danger that lurks around her?
