Stella – POV

After feeding my little baby, she looked more relaxed and happy. I glanced up, sensing someone's presence in the hospital room. "Damon," I said as he gave me a small smile, rubbing the back of his head with his hand.

"How are you and the baby?" he asked. "Have you named her yet?"

"Not yet," I whispered. Seeing Damon speak kindly, rather than coldly like during our last conversation, filled the room with tension. I could feel it between us.

"Why not?"

"I'm confused about what to name her. I need some suggestions to finalise one." I didn’t tell him I was waiting for him so I could name our daughter in front of him.

"Tell me the names you like." I looked at my baby girl. During my time with Kellan, we had decided on a name together.

"Well, I'm not confused anymore. I know what to name her." Damon looked at me. "Olivia," I whispered. A warm smile spread across my face as I watched Olivia accept the name with a small clap.

"Beautiful name," Damon whispered, standing next to my

Stella – POV**Six months later**It’s become a morning routine for Olivia and me to take strolls together. The lycan pack members have gradually come to terms with my presence, and after Olivia’s birth, they seem more ecstatic and content, as if they now feel secure knowing there’s someone to take over the pack as Alpha after Damon.I pass by the market to buy some apples, planning to make a pie for Julie—she needs some cheering up. Since Julie is visiting her parents now that the threat has diminished, I hope her parents will be happy, and that Julie will have the courage to speak the truth about the shifter world. I’m sure they won’t believe it at first, but she wants to be honest and not hide anything, especially since she plans to marry Dexter and stay with the pack. I’m surprised Damon allowed Julie to talk about the existence of lycans.“Here you go,” Vendor said with a smile, but before I could pay, she declined to take money from me.“Luna, we don’t take money from royalty. *Stella – POV**“Sorry, I meant this date,” Damon said, looking uncharacteristically nervous. I smiled, feeling a bit confused—I'd never seen him like this before. He was always so confident. “I want to ask you… would you be my girlfriend?”“Why are you smiling?” he asked.“It’s just… it’s cute to see you nervous,” I replied, my heart fluttering as he placed his hand on mine. “Yes, I’ll be your girlfriend.”“I never thought confessing my feelings would be this hard,” he admitted.“You haven’t fully confessed yet,” I whispered, glancing away. Damon stood up and walked toward me, his presence looming as he hovered close.“I love you, Stella,” he said, gently kissing the back of my hand. I cupped his face between my palms, searching his eyes.“I thought you didn’t love me. Why did you keep your distance for six months?” I asked, my voice tinged with frustration.“I wanted to give you time—to see if these feelings you have for me would fade,” he explained. I blinked, taken aback by his wor

  • Their Human Mate Stella   The Heart of Darkness

Stella – POVI felt a flush of embarrassment at my own words. Damon’s eyes were filled with amusement as they locked onto mine. “You’re both cute and sexy,” he murmured, a playful purr in his voice. “I’d love to take you up on that offer, Stella, and devour you.” My breath hitched as his long index finger traced a line across my skin, sending shivers down my spine. His head lowered to kiss me. Another knock interrupted the moment.“Hey guys, I’ve got news,” Julie’s voice called from the other side of the door. I groaned in frustration, and Damon chuckled at my reaction. I felt a wave of self-consciousness, like a teenager caught in an intimate moment. Damon pulled away, allowing Julie to enter while he went to tend to the breakfast. Julie looked at me with a warm smile, her eyes twinkling with a teasing knowledge—she was well aware that Damon and I were now a couple.“So, what brings you barging into the room?” Damon asked, his tone light.“It’s not your room. And, by the way, I did kn

  • Their Human Mate Stella   The Dark Heart of Night Angel Pack

Stella – POVJulie left for home, feeling under the weather. She said she would resume our remaining shopping tomorrow. It’s already late in the evening, and Olivia was tired from the trip, so I put her in the crib. I walked downstairs to ask the maid about Damon. The maid had no idea where Damon might be; she only mentioned that she saw him in the afternoon with Dexter and Witch Hilda in his office. Why did Witch Hilda come? Is there a problem I’m not aware of? I walked towards Damon’s office, which was locked and soundproofed. I know Damon uses soundproofing so I can’t hear anything. I tried to break the door open, but nothing happened. I stood there, thinking back to when Damon had asked me to check a diary if I ever noticed anything strange in it. It’s odd—when I asked Damon why he wanted me to do that, he said his eyes were infected. To be honest, he seemed fine the next day, so he just wanted me to see if there was anything unusual or if the pages were blank. It struck me that I

  • Their Human Mate Stella   The Weight of Love and Light

Stella -POVAs I chanted, a warmth began to course through my veins. I could feel it spreading through Damon’s body, and when I finally opened my eyes, I saw his soul—now a pure white—slowly returning to him. I had used a basic healing spell, just enough to help his body function properly again. Once I had exerted my power, I paused, panting and waiting for the magic to take effect. I tried to recall if I had followed the process correctly.“How long until Damon wakes up?” Julie asked.“I don’t know,” I muttered. We sat and waited. I checked my watch; six hours had passed, and dawn would soon break. Suddenly, I heard a sharp gasp. My exhausted eyes snapped to Damon, who was now slowly sitting up with Dexter’s help. I checked his pulse—it was normal, but his temperature was still dangerously high, as if he had a severe fever.“We should take him to the hospital. He’s still in a weakened state,” I murmured.“No, I’m fine,” Damon’s weak voice insisted.“Don’t listen to him,” I snapped. “H

  • Their Human Mate Stella   Hybrid clan

Damon – POVI looked after Olivia with the help of the nanny while Stella was sleeping. I hate being a burden to Stella; she’s the reason I’m alive. After her breakfast, I patted Olivia gently. “You’ll be a great dad, Alpha Damon,” the nanny said.“You think so?” I asked.“Yes, Alpha. You’ve learned to care for a child better than most fathers. Many of them lack the skills to care for a baby,” she replied. Her words made me feel like I could be a parent too and not a burden to Stella. It was a relief. The nanny took care of Olivia, and I went back to the office to write in my journal. A dark voice whispered that it would send dark forces as soon as that cursed Lycan child was born, before squeezing the life out of me. The voice mocked me, saying I couldn’t protect Olivia and Stella. But jokes on them—my Stella brought me back to life. I need to protect Olivia; I failed to be there for Kellan, but I need to be there for my niece, Olivia. After that, I hit the gym to get stronger, to fig

Damon’s POV“Alpha, the woman bears the child of Alpha Altair,” the doctor confirmed. But why did Rosalina look so anxious?“The results are correct, right? I don’t want any excuses later if you messed up,” I said sternly.“I did a recheck, Alpha. Thanks to the technology we have now,” the doctor reassured me. I sat down, deep in thought.“Why are you ignoring me?” my wolf Rider’s annoying tone echoed in my head. “Why are you backing away from taking the Alpha position?”“You know the rules. A pure Lycan can never become the Alpha of another pack. Even my father followed the Lycan rules set by our ancestors, conquering only Lycan packs and putting them under his control to form one pack,” I argued.“Stop sticking to the rules. You promised you wouldn’t be a stickler for them. Remember, it was those same rules that took your brother down a path you never thought he would go.” Rider’s words stopped me in my tracks.“Don’t put everything on me, Rider. You’ve always pushed me to seek power

Stella – POVI stood in the chapel, surrounded by a gathering of people—Dexter's cousins, his parents, and others who had travelled far to be here. I stood at the altar, dressed in a bridesmaid's gown, holding a bouquet, with little Olivia nestled in Linda's arms. Opposite me, Damon stood in a tuxedo, his eyes frequently glancing my way. Each time our eyes met, I had to look away, feeling a rush of shyness despite the anger simmering within me. I was still upset with him for going off alone and putting his life in danger.Dexter nudged Damon, and they exchanged a quick mind link, Damon rolling his eyes in response.Julie then appeared, walking down the aisle with Dexter's father. She looked stunning in a Sirena-style wedding gown, her hair styled in a French updo, and a bouquet of white tulips in her hand. A long veil trailed behind her. As I glanced at Dexter, I noticed his eyes growing teary as he watched Julie, who smiled lovingly as Dexter's father placed her hand in Dexter's.As t

  • Their Human Mate Stella   The Journal’s Secrets

Heather's POVI sat at the breakfast table, my stomach twisted into anxious knots, completely devoid of any appetite. Kayden wasn’t around, and the test results were due by evening. The waiting was unbearable. I hated lying in bed, doing nothing to occupy my restless mind. Instead, I busied myself reading about Raven and Xael powers—their strengths, their darker sides, and the terrifying extent. But even the book couldn’t hold my attention for long. Frustrated, I set it aside and stepped out of my room for a walk to clear my head.As I strolled the halls, I noticed a group of soldiers carrying crates filled with books.“Wait,” I called out, stopping them. They froze and turned to me. The scent hit me before I even reached the boxes—Colt’s scent. My monster brother’s lingering essence clung to the books like a haunting memory.“Where are these from?” I asked, narrowing my eyes as I reached for one of the books.“From Raven’s old base,” one soldier answered with a respectful nod.“Take

  • Their Human Mate Stella   Mother’s Silent Prayer

Heather’s POVTwo months have passed, and for the first time in what feels like forever, life feels calm. There’s a certain serenity in the air that soothes my restless soul. Stretching my arms above my head, I breathe in the crisp morning air before starting my yoga routine. The warm embrace of sunlight filters through the trees, and the soft breeze kisses my skin. Yoga has become my new ritual—a gentler path the doctor recommended after I had to step back from my usual intense training. It’s strange, but this peaceful morning rhythm makes me feel more grounded. After yoga, I head inside to shower and get ready for the day. Today’s agenda is simple yet important: spending time with the Pack members, checking progress, and ensuring the food we grow will sustain us through the harsh winter. With only five months before the cold season descends upon us, I need to make sure we’re prepared—no excuses. Winter here doesn’t just knock; it storms in, unrelenting and brutal.“Harris! Good morn

  • Their Human Mate Stella   Heather’s Wrath

Kayden - POVI stood in the ruins of the Night Angel Pack building, deep in the heart of the human city. The air was thick with decay and a sense of foreboding. “What the hell did you drag me here for?” I snapped, my patience already worn thin.“Shut up and walk,” Damon growled, his usual temper flaring. He’d barely said a word during the entire ride, but his silence nowonly added to my unease. I wanted to text Heather, let her know I was in New York and would teleport back home as soon as this was over—but of course, my phone was dead. Typical.“How long is this going to take?” I asked, my frustration bubbling over.“Honestly? I don’t know,” Damon admitted, his tone clipped.“You mentioned coming to this place,” I pressed, trying to make sense of why we were standing in this desolate hellhole.“No, I didn’t,” he shot back. “I told Stella I was going on a business trip. That’s it.”I raised an eyebrow. “You’re a dead man if she finds out you’re here. Didn’t she nearly lose you the la

Kayden's -POV It had been a week since the war with the Ravens ended, but the aftermath still lingered. My soldiers were tirelessly combing through every lead, rounding up any Raven who might have malicious intentions. Each interrogation was aimed at uncovering the whereabouts of their elders—whether they were hiding or truly gone for good. Yet my thoughts weren’t just on the war. Heather weighed heavily on my mind. Her health had become my constant concern, as she’d been falling ill more often, fevers striking with alarming frequency.“Alpha, I’m tired,” Harris groaned beside me.I rubbed my tired eyes, feeling just as drained. “We have no Omega to help out. You’ll need to push through like the rest of us. No excuses.”“Alpha, we need a break. The soldiers need it too. If we keep working like this, people are going to collapse,” Harris argued, desperation clear in his voice.I sighed deeply, conceding. “Fine. Call a day off.”Harris’s face lit up as he nodded eagerly and left to spr

Heather’s POVWhat the hell just happened?A moment ago, power coursed through me as I faced my tyrant brother, Colt, head-on. Now, it was gone. I couldn’t shift. I was stuck, vulnerable, while he stood there in his semi-shifted form—clawed hands and fur-covered arms glinting under the sunlight.“Out of fuel already?” he sneered, shifting back into his human form. His dark, predatory gaze bore into me, a cruel smirk tugging at his lips.My chest heaved as I tried to summon my strength, but nothing came. I couldn’t even answer him.“Wondering why you can’t kick my ass, dear sister?” His grin widened, sharp and merciless. “You should’ve been able to. But here’s the thing: I’ve already won.”He took a step closer. My legs refused to move.“I can paralyze your body and your powers. It’s the easiest way to make a Raven Heir useless.” His voice dropped, venom dripping from every word. “And once I kill you? I’ll take those precious powers for myself. They’ll be mine, Heather. All mine.”My h

Colt growled, seething with barely contained rage as he locked eyes with Damon.“You... you’re a Lycan. Stay out of wolf pack business!” Colt spat, his voice dripping with venom. “Lycans and wolves are enemies—you know that.”Damon’s response was chillingly calm. “And you know what? That thinking is why this feud will never end. I’m not a fool like my father, clinging to outdated grudges.”Colt froze, a flicker of shock betraying his otherwise stoic expression.“You know.”Damon’s lips curled into a faint, knowing smile. “Oh, I’ve figured it out.
