Chapter 70: hiking! Really?

2024-10-29 19:42:56Once Henry and the other three hikers came up closer to civilization, their networks returned but by then his mobile phone’s battery was low but he desperately had to get across to Nicole. He used another person’s device to get across to Nicole, once he had the chance. They left the woods just before the break of dawn, at a few minutes past six O’clock and the first thing that Henry did was to come over to Nicole's apartment and check up on her to make sure that she was okay.
Once again, Cassidy was able to play one her mischief games on him. Well, it did not work since Henry was a man of principle and was not easily perishable to change his mind on something he was against.
Just as Nicole woke up from her slumber and noticed the message, she could tell that it was obviously from Henry. Just a few moments after she saw the text, there was a knock on her door and looking at her time she hoped out of her bed to check who that was.
