Everything felt so serene in his presence. The wind was blowing nicely against my skin and the trees were swaying gently in response to the wind. I was captivated by everything about him. Right now he wasn't the Demon King of the Underworld, he was just a man. A powerful looking beautiful man.Hades was tall, very tall for a man with about six feet and two inches. He was lean and had the body of a surfer. He had very dark long wavy hair, down to his shoulders, his eyes were a colour I had never seen before, almost like the mixture of all the colours, but not black at the same time. And he had the most gorgeous smile. Everything I knew about the King seemed different when I looked at the man. King Hades was the most corrupt, evil, and most dangerous King to ever be created, he literally ruled all the wolf demons in the Underworld. I knew all this because of Egyptian mythology, something that I had loved when I was in school. I couldn't add up the fact that this beautiful man was t
"The Carnage everywhere in the world has been reported to be catastrophic. The Wolf United Union of Nations had declared a one month rejuvenating period for all the nations that have experienced considerable loss. This sudden attack on the world has everybody questioning the future of the planet, are we safe here? We will have more information after the world leader's meeting later today. Now handing over to our weather reporter. Have a good day everyone"I changed the station after that, and watched a muted cartoon station for the next thirty minutes. I was back at John's place, on the same couch and watching the same TV that had been here last time. There was a huge opened bag of popcorn that I was diligently munching on.We had arrived back at the house after the flight a few hours ago. No one had asked questions as we all dispersed to various parts of the house. I was now here enjoying a quiet afternoon by myself."Cassie! I have someone on the phone for you!" Shouted Mr Grego
"We should do this often" said Emily We had just come out of a boutique and we each had several bags in a hand each. I had been in a daze throughout out our shopping spree, going from one shop to another to buy clothes and bags, something Emily said we would be needing at the Academy"I thought we would be using uniforms," I said sourly."That was high school sweetheart," she replied, laughing. It was a long day after that, buying things Emily said was absolutely necessary. I didn't mind all the spending. In fact it was past due time I spent the money in the account my parents had opened for me. Something I had hardly done my whole life. If there was a good way to start, I thought it was this."My father is in the admitting committee at the Academy. He is a pure Alpha, hence why I am a half Alpha breed. My father has lots of money and so I don't mind wasting it. I didn't realise your father or guardian or whatever had money as well, those were some really expensive stuff we just
Classes started the following Monday morning. My timetable had two days out of the week where I had serious classes, and the other three were for training. Then with final exams after every six months. They divided the two years we were supposed to spend in school into four, Alpha one all the way to Alpha four.I wore my training uniform that morning, the only customised clothing that we all wore when we were here for school, apart from that we were to wear normal casual clothes for classes.I wore my tracksuit and walked out of my room that morning. I was supposed to meet my teammates at Gamma one, one of the several training grounds in school. It was looking like an exciting day already. It was a while before I found my way to the huge hall. Voices from inside reached my ears as I opened the huge doors.Several pairs of eyes swung to where I stood by the door. Familiar faces and yet not.I looked at my watch and I was only a few minutes late. I walked as fast as I could and joined
My roommate had arrived sometime during the weekend. In fact most of the students had arrived and only a handful remained. I never said a word to her the entire time we met, mostly because she snubbed me and I wasn't one to normally instigate a conversation. So we skirted around the other, not saying anything since then till now."That's the roommate I told you about. She actively acts like I am not in the room with her. Maybe you might know her" I said Monday evening after the whole drama in the morning."Oh. Damn. That's Julia. She...is in Alpha two with me. I guess she just doesn't like you, and it is most likely because of all the news surrounding you" replied Dominic."I don't know her yet. But she looks like a bitch" added Emily We were all going for a stroll and Dominic was showing us around. I had introduced them earlier when we had all met and they hit it off immediately."Just... be careful. She is one of Teresa's minions. And Teresa is Jonathan's.....bitch" he finished.
Someone attacked last night, or tried to. I had been asleep the whole time but I remember someone standing over me in the middle of the night. His sharp claws elongated and he swiftly tried slicing through my exposed neck. My wolf had quickly shot my hand out to block and then to attack. i didn't know how badly she hurt the person but when I woke up this morning I remembered what had happened and there was a lot of blood by the side of my bed and it's wet trail out the door. The noise of the people surrounding me got me back to the present. I was in Alpha one A, one of the three classes under Alpha one. And we were currently having a techniques and analysis class. And it was boring."I'll be taking over from here" said Jonathan to the professor currently taking us as he walked into the hall.I yawned loud because I hadn't had as much sleep as I would have liked to, and I would really like it if everyone went quiet so I could have it.Jonathan's eyes skimmed everyone until it landed
Several weeks went by and I fully adjusted into the system of the Academy. The early morning classes and whole day training. I couldn't believe anything could be more exerting than Mr Gregory's training but this was, but just by a little bit. They focused here more on endurance training than anything else. Making sure we could fight for hours on end without feeling fatigue. We spent the other parts of the week going through fighting techniques and rescue mission schemes that I wanted to leave at the end of the day, but I didn't.Gossip around me did whine down like Jonathan had predicted. People still gave me weird stares but I was already used to that.We were presently in Monday training class, one of my very favourite classes of the week. This one even more so. Commander Matt had decided that we were now worthy of numbers instead of just calling us "hey you" and hence he named us numbers from one till thirty. till the last person. "It's been a month today since we all stood he
"You all should leave. You don't want what would happen if you stayed" said.Emily, she looked menacing.Teresa and her clique were watching us, trying to figure out if we were serious. We were deadly.I glanced at Emily for a second, trying to ascertain how serious she was being. I knew she was skilled. She must have had to be if she passed all the trials and got admitted here. I didn't have to worry about protecting her if things got shitty.I walked over to where the girl stood over Bryan. She stepped back then another, I guess she knew from the look on my face that I meant business."Get up" I snapped at the guy on the floor. hated weakness. He shuffled slowly to his feet before standing, but his face was cast down, almost ashamed."Look at her," I said.I waited until his tears stained face looked at me before it went to the girl"She has probably fucked all the fuckables in this school and beyond. It's not just her body that has taken damage but her brain as well. Imagine she
