Liam’s Pov:

The next morning, I woke up to a bunch of texts from Sophia. "Meet me at school, it's urgent," the first text read. I was worried about what could be so urgent, and I quickly got dressed and went downstairs.

“Good morning mr and mrs kieran”.

“Hope you slept well?”they asked.

“Yes,dad”.

“Where’s Nora?”I asked.

“I think she’s still preparing”.

“Hurry up Nora,I have something urgent to do in school”,I screamed.

“Don’t raise your voice at me,you the one that went to the party after all”,she said.

“What is she saying?,I’m so tired of her and her mouth”,I said.

I watched my parents laugh over what Nora said.

“Don’t listen to her,she’s a kid”,my dad said laughing.

I know dad has been playing it cool so I wouldn’t think of mum,but right now,I really want to focus on the things I have than what I lost and now I knew why I always felt like I needed to be with the humans more.

Then Nora came downstairs.

As we grabbed something to eat on the way as we drove to school.

    Liam’s Pov;I can't get a hold of Ava, and I'm starting to worry. I decide to try calling her again, but this time, I don't get an answer. I start to feel a sense of panic rising in my chest.
