Xena's pov.

I didn't know when I slept off but I opened my eyes to find out it was already late at night. I tried to sit up but all my body ached like there was no tomorrow.

"Jenna?" I called but she seemed too lost in thought or probably asleep. However, what surprised me was her ability to sleep while sitting down.

"I looked around and the fire she had lit earlier was already reduced." The woods was a scary place to be but I had no choice. I was glad that she was able to stay by my side and was able to save my baby.

I rubbed my baby bump with smiles on my lips. I didn't know what I would do if I had lost my baby today.

Suddenly, everything turned dead quiet and even when I just woke up, I suddenly felt sleepy again. I yawned and like a spell, my eyes slowly closed but before it could close completely, I was able to catch a glimpse of something that came towards jasmine.

I didn't know what it was but it was like a shadow coming close to her.

"Jen–" I wasn't able to call her
