Taylor's pov.

Dimitri had been bothered throughout the night concerning his son's verdict on us. I could tell he really loved me but his son was getting in my way and I was afraid that this time, there was nothing I could do about it.

My daughter was in love with the brat and hurting him meant hurting my daughter as well.

I was glad the moment he said he was going to convince his son to give both of us a chance.

Another thing that bothered me was the fact that he was still on Ravens case.

My phone buzzed and without wasting much time I pick it up. I was expecting a call from my boy but it ended up being Tessa's call instead.

"Mom, we have lots of things to talk about." She sniffed and my brows furrowed.

"Why are you crying?" I asked, taking a sit on the bed.

"That's not important." She replied, trying to be strong but I knew she wanted to burst into tears.
